Played the Bridgehouse in Canning Town last night. Hardest place to find ever, on an industrial estate and the road into it was closed. Got there had some KFC did a sound check was all good, then Tyrannosaurus Alan got there and started playing right away, they played a really tight set (with our drummer), then we played I thought we did pretty well I swapped bass halfway through our set so I could try out the new SX which I must say sounded and felt better than my Fender then the last band played, they were tight but had the biggest egos I had ever seen so it really put me off, they finished there set their set with "Rock the casbah" and for some reason my band and T Alan had a huge "fight" on the dance floor which was fun after we was done we went to McDonalds with T Alan for more inmature silliness. On the way home just as we got to the M25/A2 junction we had a call from our manager to say he was stuck in Victoria so we had to go pick him up, got home at 3am got up for work at 7 but worth it great night.
what is it connected to? a mixer? also, have you tried engaging and/or disengaging the ground lift (assuming there is one)? That may fix the problem.
I've connected it to a few different things same result, it doesn't have a ground lift.

My XLR on my Ampeg B2R works fine but I get a high pitch buzzing noise through it, any idea if there is an easy fix?

Last night at the Wilmington in Islington, Was pretty darn good if not a little weird, I was meeting my uncle there who I hadn't seen in 20 years (I was 5) he was from my mums side and I haven't seen anyone from that side of the family since 1993 so it was good finding out what happened but that is for another thread. The gig itself was great we had a green room, the promoter had put a crate of beers on ice in there for us, I don't drink but it was a nice touch, the only problem with the night was no one brought a bass cab so I DI'd my head the sound was good and the crowd seemed to like us. The next wierd thing was a girl I used to live with in Canterbury tapped me on the shoulder and said hi I haven't seen her for 5 years :S Anyway good gig, great promoter and we got paid, that is all you can wish for from a London gig. Few of pics.

As much as you guys may love your Warwicks Sei's etc..... I think this guy is trying to get as close to that tone as possible with his current set up. No offence like.

If it helps it looks like he has a Tanglewood with a P/J config if that helps you guys figure it out. I haven't got a clue what growly means.
That would be some great help, if you can 100% do it, I will provide the details. -Rob.
If you PM your details I'll text you in the morning to let you know, it all depends whether or not the travellers my company served notice on today in Basingstoke leave or not. The funny thing is if I go I will have a bailiff with me.

It turns out the bass is in Brighton. Can anyone help with this please. Cheers Neil
I might be in that area tomorrow if I am I can pick it up.
