What's going on, the muscle underneathe my thumb (don't know what it's called), hurts whilst i'm playing my bass, like a burning feeling that really affects my playing - has anyone else had this???
I get this I have always put it down to cramp, I would like to know if there is anything that can make it stop.
 2.
Our band has been contacted by these guys to do a "showcase" gig: http://www.jarmusicgroup.com/ There's lots of T&C's (some of which seem strange to me). Anyone had any dealings with them? Looking at the website, I can't really understand what they do? Any thoughts?
I've heard of them but I get a real 'pay to play' feel from them. And is that the most pointlessly complicated website ever?
 3. Friday night has been cancelled.
 4. Good enough rack tuner, not going to win any prizes but will keep a 4 string in tune and make your rack look cool, paid £55 4 months ago, how about £40 + postage? Selling due to my old man buying me a Korg for Xmas, I think the Behringer looks great in a rack but it isn't as good as a Korg but it's much cheaper.
 5.
Is that the Korean reissue, or the Jim Burns Ltd one?
Erm this one http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?...imageID=5247432
 6. I just bought this, I think it's bloody cheap.
 7.
I got a 75W solid state randall guitar amp the other day for £65 + £25 postage, not a bad price for a used one considering they're £225 new. Even better due to the fact that it was ex shop display and practically new!
Unfortuantly you now have a Randal
 8.
I do appreciate originality in design. But sometimes it works and sometimes it ... doesn't. I'm not too knowledgeable on Burns basses, so I couldn't compare them. I'm off to google images search them out though.
A friend of mine has one and I think my Encore is better constructed.
 9. I would have bought it as 3 back up basses
 10.
The Ritter Raptor bass has 14....
On the Raptor they kinda go with the design but on this it looks like someone went mad with a nail gun.
 11. Imagine if you got it and the neck fell off.
 12.
£150 BIN for a bass guitar kit. Normal price £300 we are told. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ALL-NEW-PARTS-4-STRI...ents_Guitars_CV What is the advantage in buying this and putting it together over buying a Stagg BC300 or similar for £100, taking it apart, and putting it back together again?
It's not exactly a project is it? 4 screws and put the strings on.
 13. Next weekend we are camping out in London FridayTower Tavern Opposite the BT Tower it's not going to be a great one but we will be with T Alan (Crikey's band) CANCELLED Saturday Wilmington Arms should be a good one with the Love spuds Sunday The Bridgehouse 2 classic Punk venue with T Alan. London 3 nights in a row isn't a good idea so it would be nice to meet a few of you. XXX
 14.
Maybe a mod will move this to the off-topic forum. But if you look in the "other instruments" section of ebay, there's some pretty weird and (potentially) wonderful stuff in there. http://musical-instruments.shop.ebay.co.uk..._W0QQ_sacatZ308
I've seen them before, I'm sure I have I just can't remember where but they definitely ring a bell. Sorry
 15. Bit of a weird one, turned up to watch our drummer dept for T Alan and 2 bands had pulled out so I gave our guitard a ring and he came down so we played though over peoples equipment. Ben from T Alan lent me his G & L and his Ashdown amp, lovely bass but I really don't like Ashdowns, played for about 20 minutes was a bit of spontaneous fun, we had to change our name again because the other guitarist doesn't like us playing with our name when he isn't there (I know) so tonight we were Steve and the Suckjobs.
 16.
it should be a sin to refinish salmon pink as sunburst. i'm not even a huge fan of salmon pink. but its so bright and quite rare, and sunburst is like the most common colour ever and really boring.
+1 Sunburst is wrong and any bass in sunburst that comes into my house has a meeting with a sander.
 17.
oooh me likey that bass :brow:
+ 92.7
 18. I think you should post in other places not just the for sale section, I like your attitude. BTW I love Fenders too.
 19.
Very nice of you to say so, matey
Haha you're a lucky man, first five string I have ever played that didn't feel like I was playing a table.
