1. I have a B2R superb sounding amp much much better than my old Trace.
2. I have a Behringer BTR 2000 Anyone wanna swap for a Korg
3.
Any reason why no students?
I could be wrong but I think he is saying he doesn't want people who are still learning (of a professional standard) rather than uni type students.
4. I should have never sold my Peavey MK 3
5. FWIW I tried OG's Shuker last night and it could well be the best feeling bass I have ever played, beautifully finished.
6. Old thread is here
7. Went to pick up Si's SX P last night, what a guy and what a bass!!!! Really is one of the friendliest people to deal with.
8.
Yeah I’ve seen these on a few forums, but I don’t like the idea of it. Just seems a way for people to almost compete against each other and compare their ‘score’ against others and to feel some kind of superiority over other members… I can’t see any merits for having something like that, but then maybe I’m just a very cynical 23 year old who needs to lighten up?
I guess it could go that way. I also feel any disagreements should be settled by battle to the death.
9. Oh also how about a thanks meter? a few forums have these (kinda like kudos) so if someone helps you, you click their thanks box and the amount of thanks they get appears in there avatar box. Don't know how easy it would be to do.
10. I'd take my Squier P on with me it's the most playable bass I have and it's not like I'd have an amp. Anyway there wouldn't be much time for bass playing as I filled out another one of these things but it was '5 hot women to take on a desert island' so I'd be busy most of the time
11.
Hey I've decided to sell my Ibanez ATK 300 bass in natural finish. I've owned the bass for just over a year and decided to sell as i've never had the chance to use it. Hence the bass is in immaculate condition with all the original documentation. Plays fantastically with a very punchy sound reminicient of a music man stingray. I'm looking for £240 ono. Cheers, James
Awesome bass, should shift quickly
12. I really like it and it seems like it's coming down by £10 a day I can afford it in a month I really hope you get a sale soon buddy but hopefully if your having to drop the price on this loads then there might be a guy with a PRS in the same position.
13. The problem is when I'm playing live and start thinking 'damn I'm playing well' it all goes to sh*t.
14.
On a recent visit to London I naturally had a scout around the music shops in Tottenham Court Road and Denmark Street. I think it was in Macari's window I spied a Fender Musicmaster bass. To my utter amazement it was priced at £795! I bought one of these around 1980 and sold it on probably two or three years later. I paid about £125 at that time. My query is this, are these really collectable enough to command that kind of price or is this a music shop having a laugh? I certainly would not pay anything near that price. I mean you could buy a Squire VM of some sort and probably get a bass that is as good or better.
I think £350 - £450 is about right.
15. Played in Sheppy last night without one of our guitarists and he is touchy type so we couldn't use our name or our songs so we called ourselves "The Rimjobs" and did lots of covers (mainly of The Plan ) was ALOT of fun and we got some serious compliments after, that was really nice. I played through an Ashdown 2 x 10 1 x 15 never seen one before it sounded great with my Ampeg which was as growly as a motherf**ker. Good times, I have already posted pics on another thread but heres another.
16.
what's even sadder is that I wish I'd seen that too....
Found it. From 2:00
17. Hi buddy welcome to the community. As said before we were talking about your ad Here, good luck to you mate and stick around someone with your experience could really add something.
18. And remember when Xmas is over point her in this direction she will find it huge resource for developing as a bass player. I wish I had this around when I started.
19.
It looks like a 130w. I paid £150 for my 250w version and that was in very good condition.
I just sold mine for £230 but I think mine could have been more powerful. If you sold the cab and head together I think £200 would be about right, what do you think SRF?
20.
i do have a trace elliot 200w 8ohm single speaker cab thats i use with it but one of the castors is missing and again its a bit tired :-/
Is it just a pre-amp or is it a full head? i.e you plug it straight into the cab.
21.
There's plenty of stuff about Neil Landon on the Net. doubt wether he's going to make much selling those pics. maybe he's the one who never made it. and then again maybe i'm a cynic.
IMO he isn't trying to sell the pics, he wants his bass and his friends back, good luck to the bloke.
22.
hellooo..... could anyone help me and give me a rough idea how much a Trace Elliot GP7SM-130 7 band series pre-amp would sell for? Its in working order, the casing is just a bit tired and in need of some TLC. Thankies Carla
I would say if it's just the pre-amp then about £125 IMO
23. I think he wants his old bass back and thought this would be a good way of looking for it.
