1. TBH my band have a little problem with this, in that we call people out when they do it on stage we really shouldn't but we try to have a laugh and some bands are so far up there own arses they need to be taken down a peg. Again I know we shouldn't we are just c*nts like that.
 2. Ahem After many years of trying last night I nailed Drum Roll The Decline - NOFX Yeah baby!!!
 3.
Can I tell them their sound man instructions Rich? eh, eh? can I eh?
Do it please.
 4. Bought a compressor from him no worries at all had it in the post quicker than I could say 'how the f*ck do you use it'
 5. I was 12 and into Punk wanted to be in a band and loved NOFX and Rancid so for me it was the only choice, I was chuffed when I found out it only had 4 strings
 6.
Adee's air basses do, well more roll than fold. Then you have to inflate them, of course, before playing smoke on the water or Sons and Daughters ... Bit frustrating if it comes on the radio and you want to join in ...
Haha I was thinking about one of these jobbys you could buy it go away with it then sell it when you get back.
 7. How about one of those silent basses, don't they fold away?
 8.
A couple of points: 1. It's quite possible that the headliner hasn't got a clue who you are. Back stage areas are often awash with people: Sound tech's, lighting tech's, stage crew, liggers and family and friends. Unless you have a great big sign above your head saying, "I'm in the support band". How the hell are they supposed to know? Of course you get the odd a***hole who just doesn't want to be friendly, that's life, but if you say "Hi" to someone, there's more than a good chance that they'll say "Hi" back. Steve
I wish we had back stage areas with crew that would be awesome. I always say hi and try to have a laugh with other bands usually with good consequences
 9. "Dear Wayne I make quite of point of stating in the ad the body is Solid Alder, was there something else you wanted to know? Regards David
 10.
well thats great, if the leader is a twat im sure me n the other bar staff can figure out some nice little pranks to make him look like a nob on stage
Like make them play AC/DC covers?
 11. This is what happens when I'm bored at work. "Hi there Just wondering if you could be a little more specific on what the body is made out of? Cheers Wayne"
 12. All it need is some stickers and we are in business

 15.
I wouldn’t mind the lack of frets if I could be sure it was an alder body
But alas there are no indications to what the body is made of.
 16.
The first thing that came into my mind seeing that photo was that it would make a wonderful Demotivator poster.
Haha "Ineptitude If you can't learn to do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly." Thats is like my bass mantra.
 17.
I completely agree with the point about taking the time to say hi and introduce yourself to the other bands. That's just common courtesy. Particularly if you're sharing gear, it's pretty much mandatory to discuss with your conterparts in the other bands who's going to use what and anything specific they should know about the amp/kit that is being shared. Though I don't take exception if bands don't come bounding up to me all chatty, because ultimately, people can be shy and nervous, particularly in a gig environment. There's a difference between not making an effort because you're shy and just being aloof. I certainly have no problem with the former. With regards to other bands watching each other, I don't see an issue if headline bands don't watch support bands and vice versa. Having been in both situations, I can empathise with either. More often than not I'll try and spend a bit of time watching a headliner or support, depending on what position I'm on on the bill, but if I'm supporting, far from home and have to work the next day, I'm going to try and skip off as early as possible, so that I'm not slumped asleep on my desk the next day. That may seem selfish, but it's a necessity - if I lose my job, I've no money to fund my musical pursuits. Similarly, I'll try and check out some of the support bands when I'm headlining, but more often than not and particularly when it's a week night gig, there'll be limited time to have something to eat, warm up and get prepared for the gig. If getting all that done means I have to miss one of the support bands, then unfortunately, that's going to happen. I don't think it's arrogant to try and play the best gig you can - ultimately, that's what I'm focused on when I play live. It's not that I think I'm better than the other bands, it's simply that I take playing live very seriously and want to always do the best I can.
+1 to all of that.
 18.
Funny thing is, I'll be a few seconds later they'd just ripped the throat out of that antelope or whatever it is
"In what looks like young offspring enjoying a mixed playgroup session together, is in reality a harsh life lesson. The Impala fawn is serving as target practice for the cheetah cubs in a hunting lesson organized by their mother. The cubs eventually killed the fawn"

 22. He keeps mailing me offering it to me, I could get it for £60 but I took Kev's warning.
 23. Yeah a high interest in bass plus work being slow at the moment does equal an astronomical post count. When I overtake Dood I will seek help.
 24.
I can't believe Pete is still angry anough to do it for real ... (unless he'd just got out of court ...) so that was juts a sad old man re-living his youth, for me ..
Agreed, the first time was organic a part of rock history after that it's just a stage act.
 25. If I could afford it do you think I would talk to the likes of you lot?
