Can't use a stencil because the lines will get in the way and masking wouldn't be accurate enough. Love the SX though.
2.
Welcome Leeroy! Mighty fine first question! My vote goes for playing bass right handed. The dosh you'll save down the years on not having to use left handed basses, amp heads, cabinets, cases, stands, strings etc,. will make the learning curve well worth it ..., It will also give you a great party trick
Left Handed amp?
3.
The Behringer tone suck doesn't bother me. It's the inability to track, the delay and the complete ignorance of a bottom B.
Exactly I don't play 5 string live but I would like to tune it at home.
4. I would never put the tuner in my signal path for the reasons you mention. I might just save for a Korg DTR 1000. I wish there was a middle ground option around £80.
5. I bought the Behringer I don't know why, I'm so stupid. I can't really afford a Korg but I want something with a lot better response, is there any middle ground?
6.
I'm a last minuter. The way I see it, the longer you're on top, the longer the competition have to shoot at you. I have a max bid in mind, if it goes over that before the end, I walk away. I've never lost something by bidding the same amount as someone who got in earlier.
Agreed, the problem is if you bid then someone else bids then you feel you have to be top. If you enter in your max at the last minute then you don't have to pay an inflated price .
7. I always wait till the last second that way I don't get in a bidding war and therefore push the price up.
8. I blame this it just stops people from actually picking up the cello.
9. I have gigged with my Badger 10W 10" with the great EQ option of bass and treble nether of which do anything. I love that amp
10. Have a bump from me for better luck selling your trace gear
11.
2007 Fender MIA Jazz
That's not sh*t, I have a MIM Jazz and before I came here I thought that was near the pinnacle
12.
Im exceptionally content with all my gear.Ive always loved my Ric, the newish Bongo is a joy to play and the Stagg EUB is the most fun you can have standing up since Lesley Ash in Quadrophenia. :brow: The Shuttle rig  brings a smile to my face and a skip to my w@@@er dancing every time Im on stage and that comes out in the music. The only problem is that there is a space on my pedal board and its driving me scatty  . But I will fill it. Oh yes I will. Apart from that the only thing making me feel low is a lack of GAS. I miss it! Wot do you think. Too many smilies. Thought so
I know what you mean I have a spare unit in my rack and I just wanna complete it.
13.
If it's not good enough for John McCoy it's not good enough for me.
If it's not good enough for John McCoy it's too good for me.
14. I now have my Ampeg and when I used it on Saturday I was very happy but I haven't used it with my Fender yet so hopefully when I have I will be very happy.
15. Sunday night Spurs played crap and I'm not happy and I'm proper stuffed after dinner Bump.
16. I know how to set my gain, it's just in my head the bigger coil would logically need more gain to power it .
17. Ah I was wondering if a passive with bigger coils would need more gain to power them. Cheers
18. A little question about gain. On the Trace I had to put the gain up to 7 before it clipped on this I put it up to 4 but that is with my P on the Ampeg but my Jazz on the Trace. Do you you have to put the gain up more for a higher output pick up or a lower output pick up?
19. It's bloody hard to sell stuff at the moment isn't it? I think you made the same mistake as me in buying before selling. Good luck buddy
20. I picked my Ampeg up from woking on Thursday bugger
