I'm getting really fed up of every gig I play having at least one bassist with an Ashdown Amp and a Warwick bass.

[/quote] Have you ever been to a Bose shop with a cinema inside? I was given a very impressive demonstration. They may be over priced but there staff could teach guitar shops a thing or two about customer service, they gave me the full demonstration because i was interested even though they knew I had no intention of buying.

It's hard for them to find their way to the top.

I don't think my P-bass was owned by anyone famous but it looks like the wiring was done by Stevie Wonder

The really annoying thing is I'm getting an awesome tone out of my 5 String Westly and my Badger 10 Watt amp combined cost £30
