2.
THAT is the best sequence of smilies the world has ever seen! too much coffee==>screen to see what I'm typing! Wayne, go for the stickers, skull knobs etc etc AND neons, go balls out with it mate, I'll find a project and do the same, then we can compare/contrast
I'm defo going to put some lights in it now. we should have a tacky bass off.
Oh and Leave it as is (if you think it looks good) [ 1 ] ** [8.33%]
Someone thinks it looks good
 3. For fast songs I tend to use a Dava pick because you can hit the strings hard but it gives in the middle giving a constant tone.
 4.
Rose Kemp?? Didnt he do that TV program, 'Gangs'??
Could have been funnier 3/10
 5.
Bah, Stockport isn't the north
If it's past Watford and people can't talk properly then it's the north.
 6.
Get a Boss TU2 INSTEAD............................ Easier to use and far cheaper
Not cheaper I got my Behringer for £40 new and I think the TU2 is about £60?
 7.
Swap for a '78, cash your way? Good working order, well run in, NLASR etc.
Johhny lager is a drunken pimp, I knew it.
 8.
If you're doing loads of leads and the like this is a useful bit of kit: http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?Module...=17m10#overview saves trying to hold four things at once and burning your fingers as the connectors heat up!
I use one of them and a soldering gun far better for me than an iron.
 9.
Are the Korgs a similar size? all i need is standard tuning 4 string anyways and i don't have the best budget in the world!
they are but about double the price. It tunes fine but everytime I look at my rack I wish I had paid a little more
 10.
Here's a pic of one guy playing with his while another guy reaches around and plays too. All the while, another guy looks on and fiddles.
Gave me a chuckle. I have an 85 model it's sh*t
 11.
Forget a Behringer. They're absolutely w@nk for bass..... This is from personal experience.
Agreed I regret not getting a Korg
 12. I have one they are very shallow but as a tuner they are not great they do the job if you are just tuning a standard 4 string to 'E' but any deeper and it wont pick the notes up.
 13.
Route out the plastic either side of the strings & put these in... http://www.ebuyer.com/product/42959/show_product_reviews But in blue of course.
Looks kick ass but how would I power it?
 14. Basses and amps How great would it be if you could get everything you wanted from one bass and one amp.
 15.
Amp DI wouldn't be my first choice for use in a studio
Fair dues just an idea
 16. I think it would cost you less than £50 to have the DI in your Hartke fixed.
 17.
If that was my bass, I would first hear how it sounds without that wire - but if you have to, just wire it to the sleeve of the jack.
Nice, cheers guys been a great help.
 18.
Yes - that simple!
Awesome, where do I earth the bridge to?
 19.
Rolls off the treble Yes. One of my basses has a single MM pup wired straight to the jack and it just sounds like it would with volume and tone full on. And that's the way (ah-a ah-a) I like it.
Awesome I don't want to roll off the treble (its a Punk bass) so do I just wire the 2 pick up wires to the jack?
 20.
I vote you drill some holes in the back and put some very bright LEDs in. I know a guy with the same bass actually, he even gigs with it. doesn't sound too bad actually.
LED's do sound fun I should really do a poll on it. hmmmm Oh you're right it isn't half as bad sounding as I thought it would be.
 21. 2 questions hopefully simple I'm putting some high output passives into my Encore (just for the fun of it I have them lying around) 1, What does a capacitor do to the tone? 2. Can I wire it up without a volume or tone pot? Cheers
 22. It is the second most useless knob on my Jazz (the first being me obviously)
 23.
Ha ha beat me, I saw that too. Some dude played a ropey Star Spangled Banner on it - right handed! I think they said it has been sat in Noel Redding's nephews garage for years. They're expecting to get around £1,100,000 for it.
Damn breakfast TV giving me GAS. I like the fact it has been his garage for years I have a picture in my head of it nesseld between some rusty paint cans and a door off of a 1983 Ford Transit covered in cobwebs.
 24.
If you click on seller's other items he has hendrix's first burnt guitar for 125 grand.
He is on BBC breakfast with it.
