I've got the same amp as you - but 50w lighter.
I'm not being sarcastic I just am in way above my head. I know what sound I want and my amp I'm sure can do it but I can't explain it because I'm an idiot. Sad thing is I had a dream about it last night I am a big lameo
 2. I haven't I don't really know what to use it for.
 3.
Got the pre-shape switched in or out? Using any compression? I'd suggest pre-shape on, compression (don't think your GP7 has got compressor, so maybe something like the Aphex Punch factory) and some top end added with the EQ sliders or the EQ control.
Using pre-shape and no mr fancy pants I got the one without compression Time for a compressor then?
 4. I still haven't worked out my sound on my Trace GP7. I want an attacky sound with a bit of bottom end keeping the clarity of the notes. Anyone know any good settings?
 5. Don't worry about it I doubt I hit one note right on Saturday I was too busy looking cool and having fun
 6.
Bonjour Rodney - I regeret to inform you that I will be declining your offer!
I've been rumbled. LEG IT
 7.
*coghs coffee over keyboard*
Off topic WOT but I saw this and thought of you.
 8. Last night was a mixed bag. The bad stuff : Parking Ticket 10 people there Some guy saying I couldn't play the bass (I told him I already knew he didn't seem to care) My bass tone was all over the place I still haven't found my sound on my Trace Couldn't hear a thing on stage. The good stuff: The van trip on the way up we listened to Me First And The Gimme Gimmes and NOFX was rocking out. Watching a solo guy on a keyboard open up with 'good to be back' by Gary Glitter then proceeding to do a cover of 'killing in the name of' Watching an awesome Funk band the bass player was rocking a nice Warwick and he knew his way around the fretboard. When confronted how all the band stood up for eachother. Getting in the van on the way home turning the radio on and being greeted by the word "welcome to the XFM Punk show coming up Bad Religion and Lagwagon"
 9.
If I owned a Van Gough (I can spell it ner ner-ner-ner), it'd be my right to burn that too. IMHO, YMMV etc.
I'm afraid I have to add this to the 'Fail' thread
 10. I get a bit p*ssed off when people disrespect instruments. I had a go at a guy a few weeks ago when he threw his mex strat at a pub gig.
 11. I have Seymours on my Jazz now they give a great tone but I'm a little suspect about the output as it clips my amp at 7 on the gain
 12.
You own it. Burn it if you want.
I'm not so sure (I'm not saying I disagree) could it be argued that you have the same responsibility for a '53 P as you do a Van Gogh?
 13. Yeah WD are expensive and I had to file down mine too but it was the only place I could pick one.
 14. After looking at the '53 P in the ebay section Here Me and the missus had a bit of a discussion about if you was seriously loaded and bought this and you could afford another one would you still have a moral responsibility to make sure the instrument stays pristine or is it a case of if you own it you can do what you like? I may not have explained it well.
 15.
Check out the rest of his stuff!
I see a heist coming on, who's in?

 17.
Haha i noticed that XD Also i love the engrish on there!
If I was loaded i would buy it just to see what the hell turned up at my door.
 18. i think it is horrid but definatly a party piece
 19. I do alot of bass solos and as we know I'm not the best. I usually use 1 of 2 things a mashed up blues scale (in a punk song sounds awesome) or I pick a rhythm and play random notes until it fits.
 20. Just got mine back last night, I haven't seen it for a year I forgot how pretty it was.
 21.
Regarding "hot", if i were you I'd get one of the Japanease Fender 51 reissues - they are better nade, have proper positioned truss rods and are made of ash not basswood. If tyou keep an eye out you can get these used on the bay for £250 to £300. A better buy and the resale value will be better too
It is so pretty though. 22. On a rutine serch of ebay I found 2 contrasting basses one I would kill my grandmother for (she is getting on a bit and this will last longer) and the tackyest looking thing I've ever seen. 23.
Bloody Hell.....200,000 customers a year .....600+ customers a day , thats about 1.1 every minute they are open, or am I missing something ?
No wonder they're grumpy, I would be grumpy if I was that constantly busy.
