I'm suffering from it now, I think it has something to do with carrying my rig into the drummers basement at 1am after the 2 hour drive home.

Played the Hope and Anchor last night in Islington. You know when you play a venue that everyone has heard of and famous bands have played there? Everyone expects it to be great but it doesn't matter how many people have played there or how famous it if you are on a cramped stage playing to 20 people on a Monday night. Hey guys, I'm sure I can count on your expertise. I played a gig tonight and the bass player from one of the bands was playing an unusual bass I asked him what it was he said he had had it for 13 years and always wondered what it was so I whipped out my mobile phone took a few photos in the hope that one of you would know what it was.

I just turn up to gigs thinking 'damn it i should have practiced' blag it then go home.

Last nights gig was alright good crowd good laugh but it was a battle of the bands and I hate those things we came second out of 4 which isn't bad I guess but all the other bands do is scream, I'm sure people like this but it's a little unfair putting us on with bands that sound nothing like us, how can you make a comparison? Apparently the we would have won according to the sound man but we got marked down on originality because we worked "a message to you Rudy" into the last song.

Good luck with that I have a BOTB's later and from the looks of things e are the only non Emo band there,I love gigs when you can just rip the piss out the audience. Anyway how the hell do youplay for that long?

Tim Armstrong uses one of those straps now after years of lugging his beast.

The more I look at that bass the more I want to sell my missus to buy one.

I'm super anal about equipment, thats wierd because I'm not like that with anything else.

Don't tune through the amp, nothing is worse than hearing someone tune during songs. Only mention once if at all that it's your first gig, no one will really care, it's harsh but true.
