1. Cheers for the kind words guys. I know what thread I'm going to look at when I'm feeling down
2. I know I love the way it lights up the Trace like it's saying "look what I have"
3. I can now it's with my cab. I don't like turning on amps that don't have a load on them.
4. I just tried it out. Damn it's powerful and the EQ is very sensitive it is going to take me a while to get it right.
5.
It's a pretty small 3 day job called Gazastock! Good place and nice people. Would like to play there next year.
Ah i was wondering if you went to that Zoo8 at Port Lymph, mate of mine went it was an absolute shambles. I do like local fests we have the Hop fest in Faversham, It's really nice even if the crowd don't like you, you can always just walk home.
6. I guess it depends if select post or pre eq on your DI output. What festival did you go to mate?
7.
Nice... You got some sort of light coming out of the underneath of your tuner?
Yeah it has a rack light on the bottom it's gonna look awesome on stage.
8.
Now's the time then. They're going cheaper than the cost of the parts.
If i hadn't bought the Trace and been laid off i would be there.
9.
Wait till you get that Trace head going... Select "pre-shape" and you might not need the SR.
That would be great but I think i might get the SR anyway
10. I don't know if I'm there yet but I have sure moved on from my Encore bass and Badger amp. I like a to play deep but with attack I prefer a P-Bass tone but my Jazz with it's SD Quarter Pounders sounds awesome. Next year I'm going to buy a Stingray and see if I can find the holy grail.
11.
Show us a picture! I'm McLovin my new GP7.
Not a very good pic but it gives you the idea.
12. I now have now got it mounted and i have a rack tuner but i still havn't been able to turn it on
13.
Don't like it really, I'm not a fan of funiture basses unless they're exceptional, although, being an Alembic, it'll play extremely well and be very versatile, but....unless I had enough cash to literally piss up the wall with it, I wouldn't go near it.
+1 I don't get the furniture bass thing either but i like bright colours i guess it's a taste thing as is everything, personally wouldn't pay more than £600 for a bass unless i was really flush. I used to own a Tanglewood Warrior furniture bass i know what your thinking, it is suppose to be the best bass in the world but i didn't get on with it
14. Just had some brand spanking new P-Bass pick ups turn up, sold to me at a stupidly low price. Well packed, quick delivery and great communication. Now i just have to finish painting the bloody thing, seriously i have blisters on my hand from the amount of sanding i had to do. Anyway not the point don't hesitate to buy from this guy.
15. I don't know what it's called but when i was in Plymouth I went to a nice guitar shop on a road just off of the main centre, had a nice selection of basses upstairs and the staff were really friendly
16. I'm thinking of buying one i have heard good things. Has anyone got any first hand experience?
17. I'm gonna take a punt on it for the drivers and cab if i get it i'll let someone on here have the head for a few quid.
18. The amount of gigs i have started panicing at because i have plugged the input and outputs in my tuner round the wrong way, then i'm ike no sound ? why no sound so i do the usual thing (start turning everything up) then when i work out the problem i forget to turn the amp down and bang 10 deaf punters.
19. What are they doing out of the kitchen long enough to learn bass?
20.
Chris Wolstenholme. He does a great job with Muse - he has a very original style, his sound and lines are an essential part of the band, he has taste and uses his effects to great, erm, effect. On the down side, everyone and their mother now have a Big Muff or some other device that turns their bass into a fart generator and litter Youtube with pathetic renditions of Hysteria. Fuzz used to be a really cool effect but nowadays it´s done to death...
I really like him but i don't like Muse and I did learn how to play Hysteria yesterday I have no effects but it does sound awesome on my practice amp. However i will not be uploading a video of me playing it on Youtube
21. All gone. Will be posting them on Monday to all those who have asked for them.
