2.
well it s 123£ shipped all together, so let s say 110 shipped / 100 cash on collection
Where are you? Cheers
 3. That looks so kick ass, i don't really like marshall bass sound though.
 4.
I saw that a while back, been trying to get my sister's little boy to do the same but he's crap.
Thats harsh
 5.
I think we are in danger of a serious thread hijack here mate, I reckon we should call it quits now
Yeh 1 post too many. One of my lazy bass habits is not practicing and hijacking threads
 6.
Yip, he sure can be a complete pratt. I can't stand bad manners and disrespect.
Great Ozzy Osbourne quote "I might be a washed up old junkie rock star, but at least I'm not Sting" made me chuckle.
 7.
Well I never, surely that can't be Liam from "bodybuilding metal" band Angst? Haven't seen them in ages, that picture just reminded me why. I've only ever taken a spare when both my basses were tuned the same, one active, one passive, and I couldn't find a spare 9v battery. Apart from that I've always risked it.
Indeed it is, have you seen them live? can you believe the amount of equipment?
 8.
I get you! But highly creative people with attitude and determination can be real pains in the arse. Cracking bass player in my opinion though, along with a great voice, awesome songwriting skills, market awareness, etc.
As i say I'm sure he is a good player it's not really my cup of tea so I've never really analised it. I saw him on one of these talk shows a few years back and he had an acoustic guitar with him, he was the first to be interviewed then the next guest came on and while the interveiwer (may have been Parky can't remember) was talking to them he just sat there strumming it was just so disrespectful.
 9.
What's wrong with Sting, dude?
He is everthing i hate in a person he thinks so much of himself and has a complete smugness about him arghhhh. Probably a good bass player never listened long enough to tell.
 10.
I wouldn't lend a guitar to someone if I thought he'd lean it against an amp and snap off the headstock!!!
Oh another thing in my 'Box Of Tricks' is a guitar stand.
 11.
use my left thumb to fret notes on the E string. then again, Sting, Chris Squire and Stanley Clarke do it sometimes.
If Sting does it that is more than enough reason not too. Me I'm just a terrible bass player i've been getting away with it for 12 years god bless Punk.
 12. This is one of those times i feel like crying because i don't have the money.
 13.
I ordered a Warwick Streamer $$ from a shop in Germany because it was in the sale, I did this last Sunday and on Monday was asked to make a money order to them. I made this on Tuesday. I just received a call earlier to tell me that they have my money (£968 worth of euros!) but that they've sold the bass!!!! I was at the doctors at the time so told him I'd call or email back. I don't believe this!!! Did they wait for my money to turn up before actually reserving the bass?!?!?!?!?!
That is terrible you should use the refund to buy a plane ticket then go over and kick the guys ass

 15.
+1 Don’t get me started on guitarists…
We played with a band once that had 2 guitarists they had 8 4x12's 2 TSL100's each and an array of vintage gibsons. We hadv a running joke that they were waiting for the second much bigger van that contaned there ego's along with a life size gold statue of the band. This is one of them at a pub gig.
 16.
three things: 3 - is it not a geneous idea to build a little bright box (like the trace one) to fit the gap?! that'd be awesome! !
You could say it's a bright idea I would be interested if you wanted to get rid of the speaker.
 17.
Hi Yes the picture is the only rig pic i could find but it is actually a 4x8 and a 2x10 Cheers Brian Here is an actual pic but my little lad aint for sale
Hmmm i may have to report you to social services, making him wear that shirt is surely child abuse
 18. I always take a spare just in case, it has come in useful a few times, once my Fenders pick-ups lost all tone during a song and a mate of mine sorted out my spare and i managed to swap over without missing a note Whoop!!!!!
 19. I'm sure ypou know more about these things than i do as i say just a thought.
 20. Just go a little leftfield, if you have a really decent computer sitting round doing nothing why not sell it and buy a really good multi track recorder?
 21. Don't know if i have the right forum but i want to check before i paint my bass i know the correct way to do it. The way i'm planning is 1.Sand the the paint off 2.Run some fine sandpaper over the body 3.spray it with primer let dry them prime again 4.Spray paint the body wait to dry then apply as many coats as needed 5. Wait for paint to dry then lacquer. Is this right? Cheers
 22.
Sounds good ... Where did you get the checkerd chef's trousers plate, mate? Ideal for my mate's ska band ..
I got it from WD Music it wasn't a great fit at first i had to sand a little round the pick ups but was well worth it, I'm in a ska/punk band and hardly a gig goes by when i don't get offers for it.
 23. Just ordered an old (80's) US P-Bass body and it's the start of my project. The plan is to strip the black paint off then respray it bright yellow, then put a Bad Ass bridge on the mofo then put a checkerboard scratchplate on (like my Jazz in my sig) finish it off with a Fender Maple neck with block inlays. Haven't decided on electrics yet. This is my first project so i expect it to end up on eBay in 2 weeks for £20 in a total mess. Pics to follow.
