4.
I'd say just go for it..... you and your band mate will gain alot from playing live. It's very different from rehearsing and bedroom playing. You'll all gain a lot of experience from playing live and it will also boost the confidence of those that are not feeling quite there yet. J
+1
 5. He has now lowered the price and changed the listing.
 6.
No colour, just go for clear perspex.
Thats a damn nice finish
 7. I like the white pearl. I've decided to put checkerboard pickgaurds von all my basses now after the first one was such a success.
 8. I sent him/her a message. "Hi there just to let you know this is Fender Squire Affinity, it is a starter bass and retails at about £120 new As you say you don't know a lot about these things so i'm just giving you some info hope you don't take this out of context. Wayne"
 9.
Getting a good take is more than getting to the end of a song without any mistakes - It's got to have attitude - it has to sound fresh. 20 attempts to get it nailed really is too long (in any case I'm sure that would be in contravention of your basic human rights ) If your drummer hasn't got it in 4 or 5 takes then you gotta take a break or move on to something else. If - when you come back to it - he still can't get it, then you basically have 3 choices: Simplify the part. Drop the song. Use another drummer Steve
I've taken a huge amount of takes in the past thats why we take laptops and lots of TV shows on AVI to the studio when we go, sometimes you don't want them to nail it because Family Guy is on.
 10. I agree something high end would have the brand in the title. Also you wouldn't generally sell a high end bass as a part of a bass, effects and amp package. He also has 0 feedback.
 11. Damn i only have the Hoyt Pro Ultra Elite

 14.
The latest Question / Answer states it is a Squier
I was just dubius that he didn't mention that in the listing.

 16.
Mine was a 4s Stagg, P/J config, sunburst finish. It served me well, only thing is I was (and still am) a guitar player so I used to play it with a pick and all my bass lines were like guitar lines.
I always play with a pick but a lot of bass lines i play are very fast and need alternate picking.
 17. Our band has 2 people with talent and 2 people without talent i'm in the latter but when we get together we make good noise and we have fun, they are my best friends an it's very you get that.
 18.
I've been outbid!
I've given decided it looked too much of a metal bass for me.

 20.
What the hell does 'Nitro' look like?
Thank god someone said it.
 21.
Mine was a late 60's early 70's Ibanez with about 4 scratch plates a la Burns on it.It was given to me by my brothers friend. I wanted a Gibson Grabber but was only 14 (1976) so I stripped the paint put a Grabber style plate on it and french polished it. It played and sounded wonderful with 2 chrome humbuckers on it. I snapped the neck at the headstock but repaired it, then it broke again and I honestly have no idea what happened to it. No idea what model it was as I cannot find it on the interweb.
Do you still have it or that rather lovely jumper?
