7. 2005 model I bought this earlier this year, it's a crazy good bass, I'm selling due to wanting one in a different finish if that goes then this gets withdrawn. It has a few little knocks on the back of the headstock and a bit of buckle rash but overall in great shape and sound amazing. I will post at cost and I'll accept cash or bank transfer. I'll get more pics up later
 8. Have to buy this need to sell my Sterling.
 9. I know this isn't Jazz but it's a great groove to noodle along to and an awesome song
 10.
A mission........A mission for bass!? Always up for an adventure......what would you estimate travel time to be? Looks like I'll have to research to see if my android GPS will work in the UK without spending a fortune on data. I would be very happy with a 1 = 1 conversion.
About an hour from Camden.
 11.
So, I'm heading to London on business at the end of September and it looks like I'll have a free Saturday....time to explore the bass scene! I'm thinking about possibly buying a bass while I'm there.....something you either can't get in the US or is hard to get. A few options I've identified are: - An Overwater / Tanglewood Classic or Contemporary J - A Squier James Johnston Jazz (UK only) - Italia Marnello or Rimini - A Burns Bison RI Not looking to spend big money and these seemed interesting. Any thoughts on this list? Any I should add or delete? What about suggestions on where I should look in London? Any info, help and / or guidance will be appreciated! Cheers!
Bass Gallery in Camden, avoid Denmark Street.
 12. Haha man sounds pissed, to be fair being the best bass player in the WR is like being voted the prettiest person in the burns ward.
 13.
If you want a relatively reasonable priced P. Bass that is good quality & plays well. check out the Squier 'Classic Vibe' series. I have recently bought the '50s model in Butterscotch Blonde in this range & it is really nice, & for a bass with one pickup & a tone & volume control it has a tremendous tonal range. There is also a '60s model too. They are in the £300 range, but of course prices vary according to which retailer's website you visit. Tony.
Indeed the new Squier's are hugely rated on here.
 14.
£25 inc postage???
Go on then.
 15.
You're probably right. I know that acoustic guitars coming out of the far east can be superior to American or British stuff, and I'm sure it's the same for basses. What about the quality of electrics on the cheaper basses? Thanks for your comments. KEDO
There is defiantly a difference in quality but I think out of all basses P basses have the smallest difference in tone between the cheapest and most expensive.
 16. Thank god it fake or I'd have a drive on my hands.
 17. I find P basses are much of a muchness, they all sound pretty much the same but it's about feel with them, I love the sound of my P bass but I bet a £30 or £2000 P would sound pretty much the same.
 18.
is it a Matsumoku brand? PJ bass for £40.... should i just go for it?
Yes you should I paid £100 for mine in 1999.
