lol, i had a situation like that, my amp was on the table; i cranked it up turned away, and next it was tilting relying on a poorly painted wall to stop a hefty fall..... table was fairly smooth though - my dumbass mistake!

three things:
1 - this is exactly what i'd be thinking of doing with my ashdown, what case did you put the original head in?
2 - If i do remove my head is anyone interested!? about the same price too....
3 - is it not a geneous idea to build a little bright box (like the trace one) to fit the gap?! that'd be awesome!

what happened to the days where a bass rig was pretty much designed to be the heaviest thing on stage!

Does everyone want lighter gear? How about more compact, or 'dense' gear!

i've been thinking of building a fairly funky shaped Glass Reinforced Fibre bass cab - havn't heard great things about the material...
here's a few points i'd like comments on:
- why not GRP?
- Anyone know of a carbon fibre bass cab?
- Any other composite materials that are used to minimize weight!

i have a whole rig i'm getting rid of - it's a big lumpy and heavy - but huge!
It's a H+H 250 head, and matching (refurbished) 1/18 cabs.... they're having castors fittted at the mo so they can be rolled....!

i'll give you a bump, everyone says they're muddy - only if you can't spell, define, or use EQ!

i love mine - it's strapped to a 1/15 in a combo - can't get enough, and for it's size and price is pretty darn noisy!

this is good guys thanks for the o[pinion. my ashdown combo is carpet, and i put it in the back of my mums car once, forgetting she'd had some fecking hay in there/.... and it's still there.... the hoover won't even get rid of it... has anyone invented a spray you can apply to vynil to minimize damage? something like a seethrough resin?
