    i've been thinking of building a fairly funky shaped Glass Reinforced Fibre bass cab - havn't heard great things about the material... here's a few points i'd like comments on: - why not GRP? - Anyone know of a carbon fibre bass cab? - Any other composite materials that are used to minimize weight! thanks guys, ben

    i have a whole rig i'm getting rid of - it's a big lumpy and heavy - but huge! It's a H+H 250 head, and matching (refurbished) 1/18 cabs.... they're having castors fittted at the mo so they can be rolled....! ben

    i'll give you a bump, everyone says they're muddy - only if you can't spell, define, or use EQ! i love mine - it's strapped to a 1/15 in a combo - can't get enough, and for it's size and price is pretty darn noisy! someone buy it! ben i am interested, but only in swap deals.... let me know if you're interested!

    this is good guys thanks for the o[pinion. my ashdown combo is carpet, and i put it in the back of my mums car once, forgetting she'd had some fecking hay in there/.... and it's still there.... the hoover won't even get rid of it... has anyone invented a spray you can apply to vynil to minimize damage? something like a seethrough resin? ben

    hi there, the main idea behind this post is to find out if there is any difference in the sound depending on a vynil/carpet/bare wood. it seems the more prestigeous/older cabs are vynil covered, does this mean a thing... also who like's what.... your veiws on aethestics please! ben

    sorry mate, can't afford to let it go for any less - i'd need to buy myself a new set up, and with 150quid i wouldn't get a lot..... I AM LOOKING FOR TRADE OFFERS FOR A 2/10 COMBO THE SAME AS THIS - OR HIGHER TOO NOW! cheers ben

    loving the look of the 4*8 cab - never seen it in comparison with that combo - same as mine - and i like it! need to sell some gear and then i'll defo buy the cab - just a note though, saw one sell for under 160 quid the other day.... i'll pm you! ben

    just wondering if anyone knows or can explain why there are no 3/10 cabs in producion (that i know of anyway), i'd like of with a horn...! might be something to do with wiring and impedance... i havn't a clue... that was a guess! ben
