1. What's wrong with Elites? I share the same opinion, lighter strings are nicer - just curious as to why you do like them, as I havn't really tried any other strings! Cheers
2.
Stringstar.com is a brand new site too, seems to be the only UK stockist I can find for Pyramid Gold flats, possibly the most awesomest flats in the world.
Quite impressive prices! And free postage! Not the greatest selection for bass though, and no offers for buying more than one set! Good spot BTW!
3. UK made too - not a bad amp for the money!
4. I've just had a look at online prices, and All I can say is: THIS IS A BARGAIN! If these havn't sold in a few days I'll be on your tail - I just don't play my acoustic bass enough!
5. I remember only 7 months ago these were fetching 200 quid no problems! Someone is going to get a steal!
6.
I like the way they just quietly sell strings, efficiently at a good price, and don't feel the need to make a big noise about how important customer service is to them in every paragraph they print - that kind of stuff really irks me now.
I agree, they're so chilled out yet on the ball!
7. It was a 7 band EQ, I must add!
8. I used to really want one of these basses! Literally 5 years ago I was dribbling over pictures of this on interweb. What's the action like on it? Would it be possible to come and try it out? Should I buy this or a Dynacord Valve amp? I'd be happy coming to pic it up - you'r only about 100 miles away! I'll look in my bank account - see if there's anything there! Ben
9. And look - they've got a consistent service too! I challege someone to find something bad about this company!
10. Sorry must say that the one I tried had a 12 band EQ (I think), but nonetheless this will provide a good bass combo for someone! x
11. Not a bad amp, depsite the ber'm*nger' label...! I've played through one of these, and the EQ and range of tone availalbe is great. One benifit that most amps nowadays don't have is an extra gain channel - for those people who like distortion. This is a great amp for the money - probably suite a newish bassist who wants to try different/find his own sound whilst on a budget. Quite loud also - not a bad rip off of the Hartke aluminium cone! Good luck with the sale. Ben
12. Hi there, I just wanted to take this opportunity to 'big up' stringbusters. They are easily the fastest and politest company I've dealt with - I placed an order yesterday afternoon, and the strings arrive in the post this morning! P+P is only £1.50 too, so that was quite some postal service! Before you ask, no this isn't my own company and I don't owe them any favours - they really are just brilliant. I hope I have influenced you! Ben x
13. I'll change my pants....
14. I've got one of these - good little amps especially for the money. Don't be put off by the 6" cone. I ran my acoustic bass through it just to see how it handled it, and it performed very well! I'm pretty tempted to start using it as a vocal monitor for gigs - just tilted! Have a Bump!
15. Excellent, Thanks pal for a quick reply!

17. yeh loads..... lol you just proved my point!
18. Hi there, Just wondered if you'd be up for selling or trading the scratch plate on this bass? I've got a tort one (more brown than this) and I'm after a red one! Cheers, Ben
19. I'm after the red scratch plate - noboy wants to sell me one! Is it a 13 hole, and will you trade for the darker tort? Cheers
20. + 1 I've got a few quid sitting in paypal at the mo and it WILL be spent soon! How much are these anyway?!
21. Can I have them if all these other people can't get the jiggy?!
