1. Hi guys, First bass chat build - hope you like how quick and easy I made it! Basicly I got home from school and needed an excuse to avoid doing any revision, so I made a head case for my combo. Pencil, Long Straight edge, Square edge, Table/Circular saw, Electric Planer, Chordless screwdriver and screws, Electric Sander, Next stage is to get the thing tolexed/carpetted. May just fill in the gaps and spray - time and money is of the essence!
2. Very Highly recommend this chap. Sorted me out with a great valve and posted it super fast!
3.
Hi Ben if you go to www.audioloudspeakers.co.uk you'll find Tayden Loudspeakers they will rebuild your loudspeakers in the correct impedance with or without red cones in fact they'll build anything you want they specialise in guitar and bass speakers they are based in Gt.Yarmouth about 30 miles away Regards Paul
WOW! I never even thought about that. Depends on what kind of price we're looking at - can't really afford much, but will definately look into it! I was in Gt Yarmouth today aswell! Thanks for the heads-up! Ben
4. You're best bet would be flea-bay. This is a tough crowd. Cash converters Norwich may take this as a part exchange. They had some fender basses in there ages ago if you're looking for a new bass. The fenders have probably gone though - a fellow bassist bought one! Ben
5. Do a degree in a skill that'll get you a job, and while you're there make sure you play as much music etc as poss. Ideally go to uni in a big city - London, Manchester, Liverpool. That way you'll come out with more potential for a job, and loads more mucis experience.
6. Thanks Max for a great service. I recommend to anybody else - and if you're after leads this guy seems to have them all! Ben
7. Very nice, if this is the pedal i think it is - I used it in a recording session with a guitar: sounded .... IMMENSE! Great bit of kit, and well worth the money. Unfortunately the fellow in the studio picked his up at a car-boot for a 5er! Bump...
8. iamapirate, Just let me know mate! Remember postage costs though! Ben
9. Just been looking these up and you've got some great value speakers here! If I can sell the ones in my cab I may be interested! Ben
10. Really no offers? £30 quid plus postage?
11. Hi there, I have a pair of Tayden Audio Systems ltd. 10" 150W 16 ohm drivers up for grabs. I've recently sorted myself out a pair of replacement speakers, so these a are surplus to requirements - make an offer, and I'll probably take it! My plan is to re-speaker my current cab and replace with speakers to make the cab a 4 ohm rather than 8. This is basically to minimise the amount of gear I'm lugging about. The cab they're in isn't amazing, so I'll eventually build a BFM 10.5 or something on the lines of that for a better enclosure, using the speakers I've just got hold of. No idea on a price, I've no idea what they're worth so make an offer! Oh they're red too, email if you want any specific pics. Thanks for looking, Ben
