ben_eat_pie replied to jaythemusicguy's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
depends what you'd class as a decent combo - I'm offering my ashdown mag 300. Great little combo, but ashdown are a bit like marmite on this forum (you can make your own mind up) - I love this amp! Here's a link to the page it's advertised if you want some more info - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=26878 I have family in wales, so I could organise going to see them and therefore bring the amp over, and test your one at the same time... how does that sound? Cheers, Ben -

Very nice fellow, Bought my H+H bass rig off me, and has almost got it running fully! He also came and picked it up, included a pedal in the price (for a very reasonable fee), and was a quality chap when it made no noise when i showed him the amp.... :-( that was almost funny! Anyway, will deffo be buying/selling with this fellow again! Ben

same! i'll try and sort some out - I'm off school at the mo so am busy building my house. I have 4 days to move in, so this is one of my least priorities! Sorry about the modified post - My parents binned one because i took it out to look at in the shed and never put it back in it's rightful place. It might've even been my sister..... Ben

As title says I have a few DJing bits kicking about - I got offered them as part payment for some work, stupidly thinking I'd use them I said yes! Mixing multitool thing. I'm sure somebody could do better with them! message me if interested - they're in need of a little tlc as expected! There is no needle on the deck. Cheers, Ben No pictures available at present. I'll try and get hold of some if there's anyone interested. I'll litterally give these away, just seems stupid skipping them. Any trivial sway would be well considered!

Hi there, I've got a bit of a story to tell about my bass... I purchased my current (and first serious) bass for 575quid from fleebay in oct/nov 2006. At this time I was only just 16, fairly dumb too so didn't really know what I was looking at at the time - I had no idea about basschat at this time! I've for the last few months been doubting the origin of my bass - it was advertised as an American Made bass so I bought it under this impression. All was good, I payed the man an he drove 130 miles to drop it off for free - at the time i wasn't at home and a neighbor collected it for me. I thought this was very kind, but recently have worried about weather it is an actual American Bass and this was a good way of not being in contact! (i also thought it was stolen but that's another matter!) Since I bought it I've not had a great deal of knowledge about my bass - and I'm now asking questions! I've noticed it has a 'Corona' neck plate - this is bizare as it's my favourite beer, and brewed in Mexico! Prior to that I had the scratch plate off and noticed that the wiring wasn't the fabric type.... The build quality seems to be immaculate and it plays really well, I love the bass and wherever it's from I'm keeping it! A problem has arrised that the bridge pup isn't doing a lot - ei broken or dodgey wiring .... this is my first problem with the bass. Due to this I'm considering getting an new wiring kit - not sure what the benifits are in this situation! Hopefully someone can shed some light on the situation and help me out here. I'm quite happy taking the bass apart, but it's not at home... ever... so would be a fairly long process of contact. Thank you for reading and I look forward to any information, Ben
