Aguilar 4u rack bag - in excellent and very clean condition - used only for storage, not gigs or rehearsals. Includes strap, address tag and retaining screws and protective washers. Various units have been mounted in the case and I sometimes found it fairly difficult to screw-in the retainers - they can be tight. Anybody with greater strength and a decent set of tools (and some ability) is unlikely to struggle. Collection in East Manchester or I can ship in the UK for an additional £10. I paid around £90 for this (import from the Netherlands) so probably a bit of a bargain

As in the title. Three black knobs and three chrome (dome) knobs. The black knobs have a screw fixing to the shaft (I think this is the same for the chrome). Also, the lot includes a pair of P bass pick up covers. All used apart from the black knobs as far as I can tell. In very good condition. I can ship to the UK for £6 inclusive of post and packing. Apologies, I'm afraid that I am unable to split

Epic Chord speakon to speakon speaker cable (1m) - extremely durable and high quality - retails at £100 with twin speakons (please see below). Excellent condition and hardly used. Probably the last speaker cable you'll need. £32.50 including shipping in the UK http://www.thedenkei.../headtocab.html

Possibly Shuker - lots of options and clever construction features (e.g., J J Burnel)? I'm using one currently - a custom order (not mine) with a Sadowsky style (perfectly modelled) 1.45" nut J neck and JJB body recipe. Build quality is superb. It's active too (so many options with Shuker!) - great for me as I'm a massive fan of the P body shape but not the stock P tone, though I realise that this isn't a popular position! In defence, I do actually like the tone of some mid to late '70s Fender Ps (more aggression, growl and focus to my ears). Possibly slid off-topic a bit here but Shuker may be worth consideration (and sometimes they can be found at very reasonable prices in the used market).

TI324s should be ok - I use them for short scale (well the rounds anyway). A lot depends on the bass - I tend to use short-scales with a separate string anchor and bridge

I've never been a big fan of the J-retro as a unit (though I admire Jon's work in general). I prefer Sadowsky (available as a pedal too) for a J. I have an Agi OBP3 too - impressive but in a Spector not a Fender type

Reduced to £37.50 including shipping in the UK. Very high-end cable - if you're looking, I suspect you'll know what this is. In original packaging and unused - I bought a lot if these a few years ago and only some were employed in my rig. 10' St to St connectors. About as good as it gets in terms of quality for a cable - highly durable and robust with audiophile/studio grade signal transmission. Quite a stiff cable as a result of construction and materials. Currently selling at Bass Direct for £79 (so a saving of over £40). Just PM for images or further details. Bank Transfer, cash or Paypal gift. Cheers,

Wow, just '12' older than mine (probably within a couple of months, so I'd say this was Oct/Nov 1986) Some subtle changes from mine in those intervening weeks but still with the extremely desirable script Status plate. Nice to see pics of the case and instructions card if they're still around. Also, any idea of the facing timber - could be Shedua? I don't need another obviously, however, I'd love this. I 'rediscovered' mine in the past few weeks - extraordinary instruments - the punch, clarity and playability. 'Know what you mean by 'almost too fast'. Incidentally, I was offered a great deal of money for mine by a very reputable bass shop in London. So pleased now that I didn't sell it.
