  1. 'Invisible security mark' to prevent fraudulent returns....!
  2. I know what you mean. Always nice to see an old friend. 😊
  3. I also believe that the headphone out has a speaker emulation involved too: it does sound very good!
  4. Kingstons tend to be 35" scale, except for the Saratoga which is 34". MTD's can be either (535 = 35" 5 string, 634 = 34" 6 string). I know he prefers the 35" scale when working with a low B, but MTDs are custom built, so they do crop up as 34" and 35" spec; though he tends to know what works and builds to that, meaning they are much more standardised than say Fodera or other customer luthiers that let you play with every aspect of specification. This way you always know you are getting a great MTD, and the woods really play a role...
  5. IMO (of course).
  6. Hi, yeah, pretty similar in my experience. Save the bridge placement. On the 35" scale Kingston's the bridge isn't as close to the end of the body as they are on the MTD's this makes the first fret feel about another inch away. Other than that they have very similar ergonomics, and share the asymmetrical neck etc. Nice basses, though the USA MTD's have something wonderful.
  7. danovici03 just bought my Mayonnes Jabba with a superb and flawless transaction. I know he's relatively new here at the moment, but he really is a great basschatter. Excellent communications, very friendly and an all round great guy. He's got other friends on the forum and clearly has great taste in basses. Trade in confidence folks, he gets my recommendation.
  8. All PM's replied, currently on HOLD...
  9. All PM's replied and comes with branded gig bag.
  10. Up for a quick sale is a fantastic Mayonnes Jabba Custom 5. In superb condition with all its vintage Silver glory. It's 34.24" scale and 19mm string spacing. Bass is located in Kent, happy to ship insured at cost. Only moving this on as I now feel more comfortable on narrower string spacing. I will get round to taking my own photos and do a full listing, but for now, here's a link to the previous listing: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/294424-sold-mayones-jabba-5-custom/page__fromsearch__1
  11. I don't know if anyone has mentioned OBBM yet? Could be worth checking his cables out 😉 Gets my recommendation.
  12. Sorry, my attempt at humour, your ad is in the basses for sale section. Great price for some great strings though. 😊
  13. Does this come with the bass? 😉
  14. I'm in Kent, so unless you come over this way or want to ship them I'm out unfortunately. GLWTS 😊
  15. I'm interested depending on where you're based...?
  16. Do you ever venture into Kent at all...
  17. I've got mine at the end of the chain, just prior to the amp input. My thinking is that I didn't want additional subs being created by OD pedals etc... so it's a last stop signal clean up before going into the amp. Happy with it and can run with my master a little lower, it's compact too, so it'll stay!
  18. Graham purchased my Zoom B3. Great guy all round; great communications, super swift payment, no fuss... and most important; a nice guy too. Gets my recommendation. 😊
  19. Thanks Pinball. Increadible bass; very playable and sounds great; it's amazing that you can get this much bass for so little money these days.
