1. Roll up, roll up; £475... Delivered... in a hard case..!
2. I'm up... Zzzzzzz
3. I've always found them fantastic live, the little bridges and jams between tracks makes it feel like a really personal and individual experience.
4. TC Polytune is by far the best I've ever used.
5. Amazing bass and a fantastic guy. GLWTS. 😊
6. Nice review Ped, I really enjoyed my Pleasureboard while I had it. You definitely get that 'stadium' effect without damaging your hearing!
7. For me it's looking out for someone with 'feel'; someone that listens to what you're playing and adjusts accordingly. If you're trying to ramp a song up, or calm it down and the drummer reads that and changes their playing accordingly. Also one that drives changes themselves and takes you with them. A connection that's difficult to explain.
8. Sold my MTD to Hugues, a very trustworthy gent indeed. Very swift payment with clear and excellent communications. He arrived early for our meet up, and everything went perfectly. Definitely gets my recommendation; a great Basschatter! 😊
9. Now includes a black hard case too, all for the same bargain price! 😊
10. May I please have the other?
11. Same here, didn't get on with the MM 5, due to string spacing. The Kingston MTD range is great, and the Saratoga 5 is 34" scale with good spacing for my digits, liked it so much I got two...!
12. PJB Headphones, in excellent condition. They have had little use and come in full original packaging. Located in Kent, but happy to post UK mainland for £5 😊
13. I'm just as shocked as you are! Amazing bass of incredible quality for the price!
14.
I'd expect this too and a quick head count of bass players I know, I wouldn't argue with the 10% figure.
Wow, I would've guessed around 40%, but upon reflection 10% makes sense. Wow, I'm honoured to be part of our exclusive community! 😊
15. KyrbGrinder is a great band who have a drummer as their singer and 'front man', from the back! Lots of energy and works the audience well.
16. Yesterday I met with Udo to buy his MusicMan Bass. He travelled the lion's share of the journey to meet so I could stay on-call. He's a real gent, very honest and a nice guy all round. He let me have the bass at a great price and it was in perfect condition. Very happy indeed. Certainly gets my recommendation. Thanks Udo!
17. He is new to Basschat, but has really understood our community. He is very friendly, polite and a real gent all round. He bought my MIM Fender and paid promptly with no issues at all. Welcome and all the best with future trading.
18. That body x
19. You'll be fine with any standard speakon cable from your GK mb head. It's the GK rb series with the 'bi-amping' feature that have the diffferent speakon cables; as they have a high pass feature with a separate amp to feed the woofer and tweeter respectively. Regarding wiring; your good with either running both from the amp, or daisy chaining from amp>cab>cab if your cabs have an in/out speakon link. I prefer running both cabs directly from the head. (So that if any cable or cab sits out, the other one will be fine).
20. Hearing protection as a matter of course for me. We work off the drummer, he likes to hit with some energy, being a fairly heavy band. So we all bring our volume up to his acoustic drum kit, no problems at all. Difficult to go quieter, no reason to go any louder, after all; we're not going to mic up his kit and run it through the PA too!
