    Thanks for the responses guys. Good shout Frank, I've got a Mesa Subway with 8/4 and 2ohm switching, so should be grand with each driver getting similar power (excluding any sensitivity differences). Thanks Andy, good to hear that Gen 2's and 3's mix it up and perform well on gigs. I think I'll go for it and let you know how it goes.

    I've got a Gen 3 can and am wondering if I would be ok pairing it with a Gen 2 cab. I know the drivers would be the same size but different models. I've got a BB2 and am considering a Big Twin T. Any thoughts please?

    £549...! Up for sale is a fantastic full GK rig. This consists of an rb1001 mark 2 amplifier built into a GK Neo 2x12" cab, with a separate GK Neo 1x15" extension cabinet, complete with original GK Bi-Amp speakon cable. This is a huge sounding rig, with clean tone or as much growl as you want to dial in. It's got some signs of use, but is in fantastic condition. This is a serious amount of great sounding quality gear for an increadibly low price.     Definitely a Demeter or Mesa Subway in my experience. Paired with barefaced cabs, great tone, lightweight, portable and LOUD!

    Cool, really glad you like it, a definite +1 for Sibob and a +1 for the Clarett 2 Pre; incredible (both of them!). The latency is so low, and the sound is so good I use it for all my home headphone practice now! Thanks Sibob. 😊
