1. Interesting trade offers, thank you guys; nothing firm yet, so get in quick before it either goes to one of these trades or off for commission sale at a higher price.
2.
Right! Will go well with my modulus
My Flea Modulus is one bass I really regret selling on.
3.
Couldn't resist and pulled the trigger on one of these!
Well with 'RHCP' in your username I'm surprised you lasted this long!
4.
Has anyone taken the pickguard off theirs yet? Any router channelling under there or is it clean so you could leave it guardless?
There's no channel routing in mine. But it has a 'road' stamp on it and a drilled hole, so would need some work if you wanted it bare.
5.
Good Luck for sale!!!!
Thank you. Get in quick over the weekend before it goes off for a commission sale... Plus insured shipping on top at cost price. Just over a year old, near mint! Grab a bargain before it goes...
6. Interesting trade offers, thank you; nothing firm yet, keep them coming... 😊 Very open minded, just need some cash coming my way...
7.
I removed the scratch plate and used a narrow flat-head driver on mine. When I feel it needs a tweak I will remove the neck though. I think that would have been easier.
Thanks, I went for neck removal, but thought removing the scratch plate might be better next time! 😊
8.
Just get a Cruztools Cheater Driver - http://www.cruztools.com/cheaterdriver.html I got one to do minor adjustments on my 62 AVRI Jazz (same truss access as the Flea), but I haven't needed to take the neck off since!
Perfect, thanks. 😊
9. So... Easiest way to adjust the truss rod please?... (Just access, I'm used to adjusting from either the head or with plenty of heel access)
10. Thanks Musicman20, I agree that they shouldn't have dropped the ball on this. Thanks for the run down on what I'm missing. As you say, it is their new store, and that's why they said the error likely happened. It was well wrapped in bubble wrap, but don't quite understand why no gig bag!
11.
Average gig bag, case candy is just a fistful of fender leaflets, nothing sexy!
Cool, cheers buddy. Just didn't want to miss out on anything. They'll send out the gig bag...
12. HELP! It's just arrived, but no gig bag! Just bass on its own. Can I ask what should have come with it please; I know it should have a deluxe fender gig bag, but tools, papers etc thank you! (4.3kg)
13.
The only one I've tried is the Phil Jones double 4, which is unfortunately out of your price range. Highly recommended though.
+1000
14. Ordered Monday from guitar guitar, and it's coming from Belgium!
15. Bump for an incredible bass in near mint condition, trades considered with cash my way. More photos: http://s1379.photobucket.com/user/musashimonkey/library/Roscoe%20Custom%20Bass
16. And happy you should be. An awesome rig that I'm sure sounds amazing! 😊 It doesn't get better than that.
17. I would have thought that guitar guitar would have given you a return courier option using the same service they sent it out to you on. That's a little disappointing to hear they made you arrange it! I could understand if they wanted you to pay a contribution or their costs for return shipping due to the error.
18. I use a Focurite Clarett 2pre direct through thunderbolt into my iMac. Super connection, fantastic performance. 😊 (Thanks Sibob).
19. Ok, ok, I gave in and pulled the trigger on this.
20. Yep, perfect balance. The lightweight neck, small head, lightweight tuners and strap pin positions make it balance really nicely with the solid non-chambered body. No issues at all. String spacing is currently 18mm, it weighs 4.2kg.
21. Thank you. 😊 The build quality of this is stunning. The wood choice is exceptional and detail to finish is excellent. Super playable and sounds superb too! Lots of bass here for the money.
22. For sale is a Roscoe SKB3006 custom bass. Made in Nov 2014, (bass ordered in Sept 2014, built in Nov 2014 and delivered in Jan 2015). bass ordered through Bass Direct for £3495, (check their website in the Roscoe 's sold section) and features a Koa Exhibition top, Swamp Ash body, Birdseye Maple fretboard with Koa inlay at 12th fret, Maple/Purpleheart neck, Bartolini CB pickups with Bartolini preamp. Hipshot lightweight bridge and tuners, natural gloss finish. There is a very small ding on the Koa face of the headstock, (above the "R"). Other than that the bass is in excellent condition and comes with a Roscoe gig bag, the receipt and authentication letter. Plus insured shipping on top at cost price. Grab a bargain before it goes.. Available for free delivery or meet up anywhere in Kent, or happy to post fully insured at cost. Acquired this in a trade with intention of moving it on, but it is very very nice, so decided to keep it. Only financial pressures forcing sale. 23.
Ps . . . I ordered a big baby 2 rather than a compact . . .
Good call. I'm sure you'll be impressed. 😊
