1.
Interesting thread though, don't you think, where a few qualified speaker guys take Alex to task for making exaggerated claims about his products?
I don't mean to be lazy, but could you drop or PM me a link to it please, I don't seem to be able to find it.
2. I've been enjoying this thread, lots of food for thought. Clearly different things motivate different people, and satisfaction is likely a bell curve centred on societies or even personal norms (like most things)... But all the way though, I keep thinking... 'Musically Unfufilled"... What a name for a band!
3. I've experienced a number of cabs and would recommend Harke Hydrive, Bergantino, TKS, EBS, GK neo's, some lighter than others, but all very nice to my ears. but the cabs I've kept over all others are Barefaced. It's a wonderful time to be a bass player!
4. https://www.facebook.com/BestBassGear/posts/1119096148120893 A little late to the party but...
5. I'm on the mobile site, and it looks like this is on the first page..? Am I doing something wrong?
6. Lloyd bought a pedal from me. Great communications, super quick payment, he let me know when it arrived, very honest and courteous. Thank you 😀
7. Sold a pedal to Roman, quick payment, great communications, good honest guy. Thank you 😀
8. Hmmm, Folkestone to Edingburgh... Quite a way for a bass chat relay of an 8x10! Why are all the good deals up North?!
9. Really pleased for you mate, that's an amazing bass! Well done indeed, and top marks for great taste.
10. ^ +1 from me. I've got super twin and it's spot on, though a single gen3 driver from Barefeced is usually more than enough!
11. Bump for an embarrassingly low price for an incredible bass.
12.
This reminds me why I don't open the door to the JWs any more.
Really?...
13. Just have to get one of these, I've been waiting for Barefaced to bring out something a little different! https://www.facebook.com/BarefacedAudio/videos/10154116485347704/
14. The chambered body is makore with a “Great Lakes” redwood burl top. This top was reclaimed from Lake Superior. The neck is maple with an unlined, ebony fingerboard
15. The pick-ups and active 3 band EQ electronics are custom made by Bill Bartolini. The controls are: master volume, a pick-up pan pot, treble, mid,(push pull 250/800), bass cut and boost, with center click (from neck to bridge). There is a blend pot in place of the normal 3 position switch. The blend shifts from the regular magnetic set up to an all piezo Ghost bridge system, and anywhere in-between. The EQ also shapes the piezo output too, so a huge variety of tones available.
16. Well, that goes to show, if you put your mind to it...!
17. For a quick sale: with free UK delivery, just ask for EU postage quote (got my eye on something)
18. I was keeping a keen eye on this bass, looks great and superb price too!
19.
I would grab a second hand bargain from the classifieds on here This is one is a bargain - (nothing to do with me i might add) http://basschat.co.uk/topic/274868-gallien-krueger-1001rb-neo-2x12-combo-1x15-neo-ext-cab-price-drop-l575/
Yep, I've been watching this amazed it's still here. Crazy amount of glorious GK power for a bargain price. (Also not associated - but have owned a similar stack before and loved it and all its bi-amp glory). It's a little over budget, but will certainly put everyone in their place!
20.
Good to see this finally dropping down the pages and being quietly laid to rest.....
Good call, good call... I see what you did there!
21. Grab a bargain here before I change my mind.
