    Absolutely. This is why I went for Helix into FRFR. I’m playing a variety of covers, including Motown, in a pub band, and then depping in Metallica Reloaded over the summer! All bases covered. (Pardon the pun)

    Thanks @dannybuoy I’ve learnt to respect and appreciate your opinion with effects. Can you remember which filter you liked at all? I’ve got a helix and going to spend a day building some versatile tones.

    Ok, I’ve got hold of a Helix, and to be honest, I’m a little bit swamped with the range of options. Some of the presets are little ‘out there’, but I can see it’s got great tone in here too. Does anyone have any patches (though I’m sure that’s not the right word) they’re willing to share at all to give me a head start please?
