I have no worries on this score - I have a fine selection of tie-up elasticated waistband trousers. They are the height of fashion.
Excellent! I was wondering when these would make a come back! {looks through cupboard}
i do everything i can to avoid a ding, but once it gets dinged i don't care and let it just accumulate wear
Me too! Try hard to avoid that first ding, but once that's in, plenty more mojo on its way!

Beta Test & Review D’Addario NYXL Bass Strings
Musashimonkey replied to D'AddarioUK's topic in Accessories and Misc
Thanks D'Addario, received the strings in record time! I've put these on a 4 string that was in desperate need of a restring. I'd echo the previous comments about tone, smooth with good harmonics and brightness, but not tipping into brittle or harsh territory. Very musical and pleasing to the ear. They really push out a full low end too. It goes to show that anyone having issues with their tone should try a string change first - it can be game changing! I'm impressed with how well they hold their tuning even when brand new. I'm always reluctant to change strings leading up to a gig, but these really do seem to 'stretch out' very quickly. I'll keep playing and checking back to see how they last longevity wise... But so far, so very good! Really enjoying my 6 string playing too at the moment, so very much looking forward to playing an extended range in these when/if they become available. -

Antonio Papadopoulos 6 string, 32" scale, Maple / Wenge neck, Ash body, Delano 3 band Preamp, EMG soapbox pick-ups. Up for sale is a fantastic bass, handcrafted by reputable Greek luthier Antonis Papadopoulos. Free insured UK shipping, EU shipping available for price difference. The bass is in good condition, it's a rare blend of 6 strings with a very comfortable 32" scale. It's got 24 frets on a maple fretboard, mounted on a solid 5 piece maple/wenge bolt on neck. The body is ash with a veneer of padouk with a figured ash top. The 2 piece bridge and nut are custom cut from brass. The pick-ups are EMG's powered by a fantastic Delano 3 band EQ active preamp. The frets are in very good condition. The bass is very playable and incredibly comfortable due to the scale and neck profile. It sounds very nice too, harmonically rich and adaptable to a wide range of playing styles with a very musically sounding EQ. There's a blend pot and single volume with push/pull active/passive. Here it is listed at £749: http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 Here it is before that, listed for £1300: http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 There are a few things to be aware of (the pictures should demonstrate all of these): The bass does have a few marks, but nothing significant, other than some buckle rash to the rear. The battery cover has one hinge broken, but still stays in place fine and is useable - easily repaired. The electronics cover is currently missing two screws until I can find suitable replacements. There is a visible join on the head of the bass (not a repair, but original design flaw), where the laminated neck does not meet up neatly, and join line is visible, luckily most of this is on the rear of the head. Above the nut a careful cut can be seen into the head and truss rod housing (again, original luthier error). Continuing to be very picky, there is some slight clouding to the finish at the base of the back of the neck, and the neck pick up sits not quite level to my eyes! The price reflects these characteristics of the bass and is set for a quick sale. My pictures: http://s1379.photobu...ing%2032%20inch This is a great playing and sounding bass that has previously been listed on Basschat for ranges from £749 - £1300, and has never stayed around long… So grab yourself a bargain! Any questions… fire away! Thanks for looking.

I bought a bass from Blockhd. He went well out of his way to help out with an issue, and made sure I was completely satisfied. Very good communications, very friendly, and a very well packed bass. Good guy! 😀

I've had great success with Focusrite and would recommend them. Sibob was a great help to me in deciding which model to go for.
Haven't read through the whole thread so apologies if I've repeated anyone else but, would many people have paid thousands of pounds/dollars, or indeed even heard of Fodera without Victor Wooten?
Not me! Also: Flea inspired my first modulus and GK rig. Years later I've gravitated back to the GK sound as that's what's baked in my head I guess!
