1. Ok, now I get it! This is the first Wal that's made me stop and look!
2. .... so sad... I'm very grateful for his amazing contribution... a true legend.
3. Very nice amps these, I miss my one. GLWTS.
4. Happy to pay postage if you ever want to ship it... Or if you ever come into Kent, happy to meet up.
5. Actually, although I was fine, maybe be careful with PayPal. They do a 'charge back' now. There's another thread on here talking about it. Bank transfer probably a safer bet.
6. Not looking to derail, hope you don't mind these questions; Is the bass room soft tube plug in worth the money? Are there more bass effects and cab sims available when upgrading from garage band to Logic? Does that make it worth the upgrade?
7. The RS range have tweeters built into the centre of the speakers (top one only if two speakers).
8. I sold a premium Overwater 6 string to a guy in China. No issues at all. Just stay within eBay and PayPal etc; and all should be fine. Would be worth checking their feedback history first though.
9.
I'll do it for you.
I don't think you could find anyone better for your work. I've got some of obbm's hand made cables, very well made!
10. Very helpful to me, thank you guys!
11. Cliff sold me a top quality speaker cable, handmade by OBBM. Great product, great price, great packaging, super quick next day delivery, great communications. All round great guy, very pleased! Thank you.
12. PM'd
13. Mmmm, wow, very nice indeed. GLWTS
14. I've had a BB2 and a super midget (both gen 3). They worked really well together... Really well! Gives you three different sized rigs to use. Very versatile, and very loud.
15. I use Buzz Feiten tuning in my MTDs. It's supposed to give a more balanced tuning over the whole fret board.
16. Very nice, aesthetically works for me!
17.
Read up a bit about Learning Styles. We all learn differently. Some people are auditory learners and listening is their preferred method. Myself, I am a visual learner so writing down chords, structure, riffs etc. helps the information to stick because I can visualise what I have written down. Kinesthetic learners like to be on the move so walking whilst processing information helps. Males tend to be kinesthetic learners. It's a fascinating subject.
Definitely an interesting read, and conceptually works for some. But a lot of the research into this has now been debunked, and has generally fallen out of favour. I feel the best approach to learning, visual, auditory or kinaesthetic depends more on the subject to be learnt rather than the individual.
18. Cool, it works well, sounds good. Your playing looks nice and relaxed, almost effortless, despite a complicated bass line!
19. Nice playing buddy. Good recording too, bass came through nice and clear. What interface are you using there?
20. I've not found it easy. I think that's due to the fact that bass, even six string, allows for patterns and shapes that can be transferred anywhere over the fret board. When playing chords on keys, the shapes change. I think in visual and spatial relationships, so it throws me. I don't know what others think?...
21. Completed a postal trade with Dan. He's a nice guy with great communications. I received a mint Triton FET, very pleased, excellent condition, well packed and quick shipping. Very happy, thank you. 😀
22. Got some patch cables from Jon. A very nice guy, great communications, quick delivery, and excellent condition. Very pleased. Thank you. 😀
23. I bought Julian's GK rb1001 amp and EBS cab. He was a true gent. He travelled to meet up at my convenience and was a genuinely nice guy. The gear was in great condition, better than described. Highly recommended.
24. YES please
