1. Bump to the top for a great amp at cheap price! £429!
2. Great gig bags these. Would replace mine in an instant if anything happened to it.
3. Bought a set of PJB headphones from Wayne. Great communications, fast delivery, very well packed. Top guy, highly recommended.
4. Nick is a great guy. A genuinely really really nice gent, I can't over emphasise what a superb caliber he is. I sold him my TC RS212. Prompt and excellent communications, nice quick payment. Top rate Basschatter indeed. It's guys like him that make this community what it is. Highly recommended. There's a beer waiting for you In Kent now too!
5.
So the majority of us took up bass because it was the only instrument left in our first bands? ... doesn't say much about our instruments appeal does it
+1 here too I'm afraid. My best mate wanted to start a band, all they needed was a bassist. Really glad it happened like this though, may have ended up playing the triangle if not!
6. Is tweeter still wired in and working?
7. Thanks for all the comments, and for all the interest. But sorry guys, the bass is now SOLD. Thank you.
8. If you've already got a pre amp shaping the electric bass, then just a cheap and simple a-b foot switch with dual inputs and single line out should be ideal for your needs. (If I understand the question that is!). I'm sure I've seen these go for £10 before...
9. +1 for a switchable pre with two inputs. I feel it would be best to avoid the aux in for an instrument line. Basswitch would get my vote. EBS Microbass 2 would do it as well though... Both very good pedals in my experience.
10. Thanks three, I appreciate your kind words. Definitely an incredible bargain here for someone! Your US Spector Shorty (which is amazing) may well soon become the best value bass on the site... ON HOLD...
11. Bump on me for a great bass there at a steal of a price! GLWTS 😀
12. Thanks guys, this threads been useful to me. I've just put an order in for Focusrite's Claret 2 Pre, thanks to Sibob - who is a great help and answered all my questions (thank you). I predominately went for it due to the thunderbolt link up, meaning ultra low latency. I'll let you know how I get on...
13. Very nice indeed. GLWTS. 😀
14. Very nice looking bass. GLWTS 😀
15. Now that is a bass!
16. Where are you located?...
17. Someone is in for a treat, this is a fantastic looking bass, that sounds as good as it looks.
18. Last price drop: £1199...! Pre-Christmas straight sale offer with free UK shipping. (Ask for EU shipping quote). I've got lots of interesting trade offers, but do need some cash coming my way on trades. Thanks to everyone. All PM's replied.
19. Hi Tobie, Can't really comment on everything you're after, but this may help; I've got a TC rs212 up for sale, nothing sinister, works great, just that my band's folded and I don't foresee any gigs any time soon. As such, and with Christmas on its way, I'm selling some gear that I can always buy back later(although at a loss, so not the best economics). A friend of mine recently swapped an rs210 with an rs212 and was impressed with the change, more lows and volume. RS cabs are great for dispersion as all the speakers are aligned vertically, and the tweeter is even housed in the top woofer! Great cabs, sound good to me, in my opinion better than the others at the price range.
