5. Just purchased a 6 string Fodera Emperor Elite II from Rainer. He is outstanding. Really can't speak highly enough of this fine gentleman. This was my first purchase outside of eBay or large companies, so I was a little nervous, and he was excellent, very reassuring and a pleasure to do business with. Quick shipping, expertly packaged, very reasonably priced and the bass... wow... the bass... WOW!! Deal with confidence, this guy really is a truly great seller, and offered lots of support, he went above and beyond what was needed for our deal. Highly recommended. A++++++
6. Thanks very much. Also, I'm happy to ship via insured and recorded courier, arranged by myself or the lucky buyer!
7. A very nice bass indeed, I had a 2001 version, I paid a lot more for it than you're asking I might add. Fantastic sounding bass at a great price! GLWTS and the surgery!
8. Sorry, mainly looking for cash only, or possibly a cab from Barefaced.

11. I see what you did there! 😉 Have three entries on me! I've entered, and my fingers are crossed for us both!
12. Please someone buy this bass before I have to and up in a divorce! This is an incredible bass at a give-away price.
13. Very nice bass indeed. It would need to be long scale with wider string spacing to suit me, but this will make someone very happy! Great price too!
14. Mmmm! Very nice!
15.
An excellent opportunity not to be missed, with much more still than the 'double whammy' of both practising 6-string and reading staves. Give it a try, at least..?
Yep, you're right, just need to knuckle down on it! Cheers.
16.
Like I mentioned earlier, piano music takes you to areas of harmony that are a revelation and that's where my main interests are, but I just play the band set on mine and find what works and what doesn't - have fun.
Wilco! Piano music it is then, any good peices that you could recommend at all?
17.
Whereabouts are you ? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/249004-bassmusic-tuition-in-birmingham-4-5-and-6-string-bass/
I'm down near Dover in Kent. You're based in Birmingham right? Shame we're not closer!
18.
A book on what - technical exercises, material or both? I just bought a 6 and went for it - Lol
Both, although '6 string bassics' covers a range of technical exercises, it's the only book I've managed to find suited to 6 string bass, against the overwhelming material for 4 string. I Just went for it too!
19.
No problem. You can also play anything you can play on a 4 string bass as well, anything higher than 5th fret on the G string can just be played on your C instead. One of the things I did when moving to 6 string was to experiment playing things an octave or 2 higher or lower than usual. Really helped to get a feel for what works well with the extended range.
Thanks... again! Great idea, simple, but effective, will definitely spend some time on this! Thanks.
