    Would not use a pc for recording , Mac is the only way to go for serious recording, there are always issues with pc been there done that. no matter the power of the pc/lapotop they just don't hack it for multitrack recording don.t waste your money on a pc is my 20 years recording music advice!!!!

    Really enjoying this Bass, a pleasure to look at and the tone is just pure classic Rickenbacker these 2004 basses have the older pickups , the poured resin shark inlays, one piece neck, and the 330k pots which sound spot on to me. Classic ric tone without the worry of looking after an older 4001 and the problems that can bring. The Montezuma is very rare and very few of them made it to the uk total production between 2004 and 2006 was colour of the year 2004 but it took Rickenbacker a couple of years to build the basses that were ordered, total made was 300 Basses. if you see one grab it !!!!

    i use a vintage 4x12 power house 1000w 4 ohm cab full control over hi end is a big bonus. huge sound , velvet bottom end, just a pleasure to use.

    These Cabs are just incredible sounding i am lucky enough to have one, the vintage power house 4x12 1000w 4 ohm version full control over the high end too , any one else use these incredible cabs ???

    Waited a while to find one of these !!!! she is a 2004 Montezuma Brown 4003, stunning in the flesh, pics just don't do it justice and sounds as good as it looks.

    spoke to fender today yes it was a design change due to the new hardware, they worked with Geddy Lee and decided they put new Vintage pups on the 2015 model and decided the bass sounded better with the bridge pickup moved forward 3/8 of an inch, so there you go lol.
