Rickenbacker 4003s Fireglo 2023 upgraded, similar to a V63 spec with Rickenbacker 00031 Bass toaster pickup and Rickenbacker Horseshoe pickup which alter the tone quite significantly from stock pickups, vintage scratch plate and plexi truss rod cover. mono output, vintage tone circuit, superb playing and sounding instrument with low action, this model features the single truss rod and new tailpiece, the skunk stripe is also on this model. the neck profile is a flat D and very thin for a Rickenbacker, this bass sounds huge with the Horseshoe, the toaster is just such a creamy sounding bass tone , I could play this bass all day with that pickup alone. included is the Rickenbacker hard case and case candy, weight is 4.4kg, stunning Fireglo finish , pictures don't do it justice. pick up preferred but if you wish to organise a courier pickup no problem with that. I have the original shipping carton. WITHDRAWN my BC.

Honestly I would take it to a tech who has set up Rics, if you have no idea in what to do as it is so easy to screw this up even with knowledge.

Never had an issue getting really low action on my Rics using the bridge and neck adjustment only , only time I touch the nut is when the string gauge is a bit too tight , when the nut grabs the strings, you can normally achieve low action with bridge and neck adjustment , once you start adjusting the nut, it is easy to screw it up , you can't put material back on there, look at adjusting the neck and bridge over a few days to get the action you want, get it near let the neck settle for a couple of days then, do finer adjustments let it settle and so on that way you can get exactly what you want , you need patience with Ric adjustment, hope this helps you. Been playing Rics for over 40 years now, they are superb when you get the set up right.

Change the power supply on your pedal , I had a dug pinnick pedal was noisy as hell with the supplied power adapter , purchased a higher quality power supply, Silence!!!

Small touch of superglue is enough, use a good one small blob either side hold the nut firmly for a couple of mins you don’t want any over spill of the glue so minimal amount. The string pressure alone will hold a nut on so there is no need for over kill.

been playing Rics for 40 plus years never had a Nut come off ever.

Totally fake. all the way.
