    Just got one of these, have to say i am really impressed by how much this unit adds to my sound!!! lots more bottom end and quality bottom end . great clarity and bite to the sound and a huge range of tone from the blend and drive dials, wish i had this before now, it's the sound i have been looking for, very well made too, also a handy input at the rear of the unit which i am using. can't recommend this enough. get one!!!! you wont look back.

    i wish i had tried Elixir strings a long time ago they really hold their tone. i have always used rotos but after a week the tone just dies on them.

    the figuring on that bass is stunning, you have the lovely tiger stripes as well as the grain of the wood, nice!!!

    Having owned one of these basses, i can say that they are huge sounding basses, built to perfection and the figuring on the maple is amazing looking in the flesh, this is a great bass for someone at a steal.

    God knows why i let it go!!! moment of madness glad it happened, taught me a lesson. Just so pleased to have it back and it came back with Elixir strings on it and they sound amazing!!!

    any make of bass can be bad, as well as good!!!! bad basses by design for me would be the likes of thunderbird and other gibson basses, it is all down to your own taste. a lot of guys hate Rickenbacker's i love them. i think it is what you are used to. you know as soon as you pick a bass up if it is right for you. enjoy !!!

    Big thanks to Dougal did a trade with him for my old 4003 back , packed to perfection and lots of communication as always with dougal, highly recommended an asset to bass chat.
