    Hi Godber, looks are nice but its the sound that counts, and i have to say it is the best sounding new ric i have had , tried a few other 4003's when i was in the shop none could touch this one including the other walnut burst. cracking E string which is always the weak point and it just has that ric tone that you find on the older basses. cheers G

    Great finish james, go for it mate, i have had just about every colour 4003, this is my fav now it is just classy looking, pictures dont do it any justice at all. and if you get one that sounds like the one i have you will be a happy man .you get a certificate with the bass stating one of 25 made. with your serial number. cheers let me know you get it mate.
