1.
Ridiculous bargain. If I can shift my Spector, I'm gonna have this rungles.
Sweet!
2. 2006 Thumb Bolt-On with Ovangkol body/neck and Wenge fretboard. MEC 2 band active EQ, Dunlop strap locks, tatty but functional Rockbag and a part-used tin of wax. Nice condition - it's had an easy life. I always get compliments on the way it sounds. Not getting played since I bought an Everson so grab a bargain for Christmas!
3. PM sent.
4. Im in a similar position with a signed-for 'next day' parcel containing a pedal which I bought from a fellow BC'er. Posted on the 9th and it's still showing as 'in the system' on the 15th. I've even been to the local depot to make sure it's not say there. 'Next day' is a crock! The only true next day service is special delivery which has never let me down.
5. withdrawn
6. Bumpage! Trades accepted for nice Jazz basses.
7. Gigged my new Geddy Lee Jazz on Friday! What a bass. I play in a three-piece funk/rock band and this really cuts through. ...and yes, that's a poodle parlour over the road! 8. Up for sale is my 2006 Warwick Thumb Bolt-On in very good condition. Typical Warwick goodness - Ovangkol body and neck with a Wenge fretboard. 24 brass frets, 2 MEC Jazz pickups with Active 2-band MEC EQ (pull the volume pot for passive mode). Dunlop strap locks included and it will come with a Warwick Rockbag gigbag which although isn't in the best condition, still protects it well enough. Also includes a tin of wax. I'm on the IOW but will send this via Royal Mail Special Delivery with full insurance (included in the price). This is the best method I've found to ship a bass and it's guaranteed to be delivered before 1pm the next day. Only selling to buy another Jazz bass so if you perhaps have a Japanese or USA one to offer in trade, I'd be interested - Geddy & Marcus especially! 9. Someone grab this please before I do! Geoff is a top guy to deal with.
10. Could also be 'Gear Aquisition Syndrome' if you're not into guitars. I believe it's a condition that many different kinds of musicians suffer from.
11. I bought a Geddy Lee jazz bass from Geoff and it arrived today. Fantastic guy to deal with and a bit of a packaging demon! To say I'm happy with my purchase would be a massive understatement. I've been after one for a long time and this one is every bit as good as Geoff said it was. Top bass, top deal, top bloke.
12. The best experiences I've had with posting guitars has been with Royal Mail Special Delivery. I send a Warwick Streamer on Monday, very well packed in a gig bag and in a Spector Box. Cost £27 which included £600 of insurance and was with the buyer before 1pm the next day as promised. In my mind it's worth paying the extra for a fast and safe service like that. My lovely Everson arrived via Special Delivery too. The tracking is always bang-on, which more than can be said for Parcel Force!
13. 12 watchers on eBay type bump. Grab a bargain here...
