1.
Yes but... "Often musicians and any Poser express derogatory first if you arrive by Behringer equipment"
Wise words indeed. I just love translations!
2. No tweeter control but the tweeters sound good. That said I've disconnected the one on the 210 as it was a little too much having both. Here's the cabs stacked horizontally: ...and here's the guts - pretty nice!
3. I just need Roqsolid to start making covers for them now...
4. Well just tinkering at home the 212 has a LOT more bass than the 210 but that's to be expected. The 212 alone sounds great, the 210 not so much but together they sound incredible. Am I still the only one with these cabs? I'd love to hear what other people think of them.
5. K-210 has arrived:
6. All I know for sure is... me likey!
7. TC say they are 'high-end custom made drivers' from Italy.
8. Used the K-212 at rehearsal last night and I am blown away by it. I've had Markbass cabs in the past and I can honestly say that I prefer the sound of these K Cabs. Price-wise they are very similar but I'm glad I opted for TC. A perfect match for my Carvin BX500 head and plenty beefy enough to handle the BX700 which is what I'm planning on upgrading to a bit later. I've just ordered a K-210 to accompany the K-212.
9. I bought a Japanese Fender Precision from Matt. Really easy deal and Matt is a super-nice guy. Deal with confidence! Stunning beard too 😎
10. Paddy bought my 50th Anniversary Japanese Fender Precision today in what can only be described as a faultless transaction. Super nice guy and great to deal with - highly recommended!
11. Can't comment on the head but I have nothing but good things to say about the K-212. Absolutely cracking cab. Looking forward to getting either another one or the K-210 later this week.
12.
Nice, I was looking at these. Ideally I'd like to try one first, but my local music shop said they'd only be in around June I know tc cabs are designed to be stacked vertically but I'd be terrified of it falling over, I'd be tempted to get two of these and stack them horizontally.
You'd be doing well to knock these over - the pics I've seen don't do them justice, especially the 212. They are solid and chunky mothers
13. German made warwicks mainly but try me! Scott
14. Bump for trades!
15. No worries! If mine sells I'll be in touch again. Scott
16. I'm really impressed with this. More of an 'old school' sound than Markbass stuff but can still do all the sounds I like. I play in a funk band and I can't wait to gig with it. I have a rehearsal on Tuesday so I'll give you a performance update then. Just need to get his twin brother now 😎👍
17. I've not rehearsed or gigged with it yet but so far I love it! Will be buying another in 2 weeks. Door to door in under 18 hours too - and delivered on a Saturday. Let that be a lesson to all you retailers who say you can't/won't deliver to the Isle of Wight!
18. This'n here:
19. Just unboxed. Letting it get up to room temp for a while so in currently just sat looking at it:
20. Thank you!
21. Price reduced to £475 plus delivery.
22. Just to clarify, this is Made in Japan, not the USA. I've had a couple of PM's asking. It does have a genune Fender US Vintage pickup but the bass is made in Japan in the Fujigen factory in 1996.
23. £475 + Shipping Open to trades - what have you got? I like German Warwicks! 1996 50th Anniversary Precision in Shell Pink - Made in the Fujigen factory in Japan. It has a Fender American Vintage pickup installed and CTS pots. It has a few nicks and knocks but is generally in very good shape. It comes with a generic rectangular hard case which is in excellent condition. I'm on the Isle of Wight but can come to Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington. You're also welcome to come over here or I can courier the bass. 24. Fantastic day - much better than the first two (skipped last year due to 2 being a carbon-copy of 1). It was still a little samey but there was some cracking gear on display. How I didn't come home with an Eve bass is beyond me. Also met BC'er Big Rob in the queue for MK's signing on the Status stand which was really fortuitous. Thoroughly nice chap!
