  1. Well, @Richard R did say “just another” but at least he didn’t call you a guitard
  2. I wish someone would make mine. It’s been a totally sugar honey iced tea 48 hours
  3. Bass players are always right. If we weren’t, we would be playing guitars
  4. I cast you out, unbeliever How dare you suggest selling stuff? Don’t you know that all right-thinking basschat members have covered every vertical surface of their hovels** with basses ? MGGA make GAS great again ** there may be a connection here between hovels and having lots of ba…
  5. I so totally would not even know where to start with that glwts
  6. This is all just other-worldly - I don’t get how anyone can do this
  7. They do it in subtle 3tsb with maple I am in so much trouble- all it needs is red tort
  8. What about those cream pearlescent pickguards?
  9. That is actually illegal under UN convention on torture you show it, but it’s not for sale. you bastard - I assume you’re off now to drown some kittens …
  10. Actually, after giving out all this sage advice and great wisdom, I think we deserve some vintage ‘ray porn 📸
  11. I start a new job soon and it’s a lot of driving. If I can make that work, maybe I can make this trip work. I’ll have a conversation with management nearer the time.
  12. This. Just take the battery out and put some silicon sachets in the case
  13. Heathen! you blasphemer i think we need a stoning
  14. If it goes any lower I’ll force you to buy it
  15. Even “from a given specific era” seems to bestow the most magical and expensive qualities these days, rare serial number or limited edition not needed. Just enough that it came off a production line in a given year having been made the cheapest way. of course, whilst time has passed the wood has become magical
  16. This. And he gives better reasons than I did. I agree with you, as Treebeard said “don’t be hasty..”
  17. Even the one person with a “use it or sell it” animus is shrugging. I’d say keep it
  18. I’d make an exception in this case, if it were me
  19. As far as I’m aware battered 60s fenders do sell. Perhaps not long from now late 80s stingrays will be equally considered to be a “nirvana”
  20. One with a deeper voice, or who types a bit harder
  21. I have a stingray clone that I’m attached to, but don’t play much as I mainly play 5 string now. I’m attached as partner bought it for me. yours is more valuable; I invite you to consider those people on here who sold 60s and 70s basses for peanuts but now wish they had not done so. correlate much? you can always sell it if you get desperate for cash but if not, rationalise it as an investment and just keep it ticking over maintenance-wise.
  22. I don’t need a precision… I don’t need a precision …. I’m happy with my sire jazz five string ….😇
  23. What about gold anodised ? nice btw
