  1. but also a BBOT bridge might look a bit cheap on a super premium instrument?
  2. There’s nothing much wrong with a BBOT bridge, other than bring subjectively ugly I seriously doubt it makes much, if indeed any difference and I bet a good setup is more important to tonal quality anyway
  3. I’ve had one of these and it was very nice indeed
  4. Snake oil - tried it maybe there’s a difference at stadium volumes but real world ? No, imho you may get some functional things like threaded barrels for string spacing or somesuch
  5. I only got them a week ago. If you see the thread I started it’s all described with pictures “12 fret action on p bass” @kwmlondon
  6. Just get a straight edge or fret rocker. I spent £11 on a fret dressing kit and solved my own problem that was similar to yours a truss rod tweak plus two high frets
  7. My fret care kit arrived from China and I sanded and crowned the upper frets of the stingray clone. It’s down to 1.75mm at the 12th … probably a good point to stop when I’m feeling brave I’ll take on the p bass and it’s ski jump
  8. Didn’t you say that on Saturday also? nice - wish I could justify the purchase
  9. Thanks I’m not a lone voice in saying there is a free solution to this ….
  10. Our Amazon delivery person drives an electric van and is always happy dpd arrive in a diesel van and they’re always grumpy
  11. See above ^^
  12. Not backlit though
  13. I didn’t - I always thought Frida looked more interesting
  14. You can switch that off, I think settjngs -> auto lock -> never
  15. Can’t you just take photos and leaf through them In full screen ? Keep it simple
  16. What would they not like about it? Excuse my curiosity
  17. Who can defy gravity it seems
  18. Something missing ? 🤔
  19. Is it my sight or do those boxed pickups have too many poles for a four string ?
  20. Dust containers ? @Andyjr1515 😛
  21. Oh - I couldn’t find timr’s comment easily so didn’t quite get it - the live version has some more twiddly bits but fair enough comment
  22. I must be missing something here
  23. I’ve just been learning “please” off the U2 album “pop”. I struggled to play it on my stingray clone which has low action, then I tried the p bass with ski jump and higher action and it was much easier
  24. When I was young and foolish and thought money grew on magic trees, I shelled out at least twice for batteries when I stupidly left my bass plugged in and found the battery was dead. after those two occasions I learned not to do it. I’m with @EBS_freak Are you sure you’re not overthinking a fairly simple problem? I mean unplugging a bass lead, thus isolating the battery is actually no harder than flicking a switch, thus isolating the battery.
