  1. You ? How … why ? I find this very hard to believe 🧐
  2. My rounds haven’t been changed in four years as basses recently left wardrobe for first since we moved in. I’ve had four years of DIY to get this place ship shape … flats may suit my life better
  3. I’m going to try flats again and that’s it
  4. I was in the US when it came out; I was painting houses and doing roofing. A lot of them were three storey and the views from up there were spectacular. I played AFD non stop.
  5. I’ve heard this story before also
  6. I suspect I’ll have to play board games….not a fan. Don’t mind “action games” like pool, air hockey, table football
  7. @ped all discussion of price and offers should be via personal message
  8. Coffee -> splutter -> new kind of screensaver
  9. Buy jewellers files on the bay. They work for bass also
  10. Because they can’t cope with you relentlessly banging on the door all day screaming “I need a hit, man, deal me sum dat BB414 … I need a (insert colour de jour here) one” and now they have PTSD?
  11. True but you do have a revolving front door and stick a deli counter ticket to each bass. Also some of them have whispered to me about the post-it note you keep on your desk with the opening hours for cash converters on it - they find it a touch intimidating
  12. Yes, to the marketplace … 😛
  13. Not saying it …. NOT saying it …
  14. Greg’s bass shed gets my vote @greghagger
  15. For the dubious privilege of them picking a neck off a different shelf ? They used to allow jazz bass profile necks to be ordered
  16. Turmeric takes a month or so to start showing benefit - it’s not instant keeping your fingers warm such as with fingerless gloves helps
  17. @Obrienp get the stuff with black pepper extract as that boosts absorption … Amazon or eBay or Holland and Barrett
  18. He’d do a lot better with turmeric extract
  19. When I reliced my bass I left everything metal well alone
  20. They might be able to signpost you to replacements. @Reggaebass seems to remember the same event as me
  21. Glue and pressure ? @Andyjr1515
  22. I’ve never understood why someone selling or owning a 700£ bass from new wouldn’t think of putting a smear of Vaseline on those threads; I recall ages ago someone from limelight saying here at BC that screws seizing was an effect of the relic process. Why not unscrew the intonation screws or grub screws a bit when it’s freshly done and put some Vaseline on ? That’s a whole five minutes spent
  23. That plate is def after market based on the pattern and it’s fit to the bass (very poor fit around lower horn) and I think the burst looks a bit odd the action looks very high - my guess would be that it’s a decent bitsa - not even a whole Mex
  24. Seriously - back door Santa ?
  25. Guy on far right is very much too blond
