I just left mine in my car for a winter. It cracked beautifully even though the nitro was fresh
  2. The “perfect” comes from its use in old church music I believe
  3. I wish I could say the same chores and kids mean zero practice time for daddy

Mine was poly and I think it came out okay
  5. @Walker throw in some ghost notes and some seconds as passing notes
  6. Ok fair enough @EdLib-3 I’ve sent lots of things by normal surface mail to NI and whilst it was maybe a day slower, every single time it was fine
  7. Why is posting to NI likely to be a problem? Royal Mail deliver to all BT postcodes
  8. She plays it all the time, I rarely get time if ever so I’m not a traitor to the Light .... and then it’s blues so it actually ironic
  9. I’m sharing a red paragon acoustic cheapie with my ten year old. She writes her own songs. From amazon ... it’s a Mann’s music brand
  10. I get so sick of all this perfection with total ease ....
  11. He’s wasted an insane amount of money on legal fees and he still didn’t win
  12. @Cuzzie is right, I picked up some Geddy Lee pups on eBay for peanuts because muppet seller set the auction to end at midnight. Keep your powder dry

  17. Surely all us fenders are made by hand by American elves using only the finest hand crafted parts made in, like, Michigan or somewhere thus justifying the doubled cost and the sticker
  18. Seriously though @SpondonBassed is right the strings they come with are awful. I’d hold off further mods until you get some decent ones in a gauge you like you might get a good setup this time but What would you replace them with when they get tired? One, square, to, back
  19. Good alternative to ridiculously expensive nut files that you need once every ten years like this https://rover.ebay.co.uk/rover/0/0/99?loc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fp%2F1105398624%3Fiid%3D401666860931
  20. You can easily discover if the nut is cut right - guide measurements here https://www.talkbass.com/threads/nut-height-action.619581/?amp=1474037821 You’re right that there is no undoing it, so go carefully as you are but if nut height is wrong then most things won’t follow right . It might be out for only one or two strings I always check nut height, then neck relief, then twelfth fret action then intonation
  21. Just get a set if welding cleaning files
