  1. I’ll nominate Justin currie Of del amitri subtle, solid and very tasteful... whilst singing
  2. Couldn’t you find your own head then ? I always find it just above my neck somewhat below the ceiling (or sky if outside). Maybe you were outside and they needed the flaming torches to help in the search ...,🤔
  3. Maybe we should record a tribute on YouTube en homage to your tutorial ...
  4. My friend wouldn’t stop either - he was literally like a brother to me, much nicer than my actual brother and just what I wanted one to be. He was an only child and said the same thing. Still miss him now dead at 35
  5. Pretty sure that @Norris has one still
  6. Or a Norwegian blue ....
  7. Is gravity helping ? The work piece seems to be stuck to the ceiling
  8. I think they painted colours over bursts that went wrong too. I’d totally leave it unmolested if I were in your shoes, if you change it you’ll lose the magic, like a puppy replacing an old much-loved dog
  9. I agree, and I was careful to state the issue was with a jazz, just trying to sound a note of caution as I know that aftermarket plates are a minefield
  10. Actually not so certain - I thought so but someone I sold a mim jazz plate to says it doesn’t his k Samick jazz.
  11. You should take a sample and do the DNA thing; she’s probably Bolivian in there somewhere
  12. I do have such a bass but sadly it is buried - I’ll dig it out if thunderbird’s answer is not enough
  13. I’m not usually a fan of non fender style stuff just for cosmetic reasons but I do like your work there
  14. Maybe it has magic buttons seriously - nice work there. What did it cost to build ?
  15. You got them from Poundland and you think they may not be up to it... buy from Harrods next time, skinflint
  16. Rollicks I was in Dorset on Monday
  17. Yes - just takes the shine off without going through . Also good for relicing scratch plates. Buy a pack as you go through them pretty quickly
  18. I just used a household scouring pad cheap as chips
  19. I had precisely zero help from my very naturally musical mother; she simply couldn’t give a toss.
  20. Never look into a heat gun - you’ll burn your brows off and probably your face too
  21. I think this point was made in a previous page although you’re right to point out the breadth of reference and instructional material. I’ve unsubscribed because I found him very intrusive
  22. I would imagine it’s to do with the relative difference in length between a wrapped-over thumb versus fingers
  23. So, no good for metal then ...
