    Our loft froze in winter and dripped, and cooked in summer and my bass (not in hard case) came out just fine @DawnPatroller it was stored upright

    I left one in our loft for two years and it came down just fine it was even (almost) in tune

    Just stand on his toes twice per minute until he’s done - he’ll soon get quicker or get him a zoom multi fix and program the patches in advance even a cheapie zoom g2.1 would do

    If you freeze frame that charlton Heston movie about Moses, and look carefully at the tablets of stone you ll probably see that #11 (next to his little finger) actually says “thou shalt have no other bass finish but sunburst, and blessed be the holy tort (but only celluloid not that cheap printed rubbish)” so it is the actual literal word of God that you go with sunburst
