Just buy cheap gear to make up for your lack of talent. Even cheap-ish gear is as capable as most of us - a nice precision is what you want, back to basics … there you go - first gear engaged

Possibly - a joking reference to the blues brothers movie i saw hayseed Dixie on their first uk tour and mid-gig they paid tribute to their (local, Nottingham) promoter as the “only guy with the cojones to take a risk on them as an unknown quantity” which I thought very humble, and very grateful of them

What is the position regarding interested kids coming? We are talking 12 rather one than 18 months so unlikely to stick a crayon or a cake into your xlr socket - (obviously no photos involving said child please)

Unsure but I do feel we are about eight posts closer to defining the ages-old question, one that surely taxed the wisest minds in times of antiquity, namely “what basses are any good for metal” all we need now is to be about 80 million posts closer to an an actual answer
