    Note also that some others will accommodate you a little, and so you need not be perfect - my timing is imperfect and I tend to push the beat a little I had a bass teacher and he’d play guitar along. We did “stand by me”; I thought he was stretching his own timing to fit me (the learner) and became progressively more self-conscious and eventually stalled. He asked why I’d stopped when I was actually doing well

    Gross - I grew up on a farm and even I think that’s gross - it’s walking on his counters, with its paws covered with drool and the lovely aftertaste of butt. I have Labradors that enjoy eating anything and everything but they are still less gross than a cat by a country mile

    I’d just say “only if you buy it first” - the bass naturally as selling other humans would be illegal … unless it was Dominic Cummings and destinations in Siberia were on the table in which case an exception might be reasonable
