  1. Why does it have blue led lights mounted in the body, mr show-off? Are you liberace’s love-child?
  2. Always a bad thing in that kind of movie
  3. You didn’t honestly expect me to let a comment about “ten-inchers lying about” to pass by, did you ?
  4. Have you considered a future in pron?
  5. I’m sorry I didn’t mean to diss your bass - I’m just curious that the bridge is apparently changed
  6. I think it’s a bitsa as there are two missing screws from bridge and they’ve clearly never been there
  7. Wow ... keeper
  8. You’re buying another lovely 70s p bass and selling it again before any dust has actually settled on it ? 🤨
  9. Id like the butterscotch d5
  10. Also recommend the walking bass book as that’s specifically about transition from chord to chord
  11. Ed Friedland has a very good book on bass improvisation
  12. Like this https://www.wilko.com/wilko-30-amp-12-way-terminal-block/p/0051992?gclid=Cj0KCQiA0-6ABhDMARIsAFVdQv_e7KjU8oghKVt5Q39lXk_bCHKzPXzPS1qZgjPlTgD5eZQeaerzuYYaArT9EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  13. Just cut the wires and use a screw connector block from Wilkos to connect new pickups
  14. (replace “pics” with “sound samples”)
  15. Thankfully you’ve made sure that cannot happen now. Thank GOD for GAS it’s not pointless and unnecessary spend on things you don’t need, it’s insurance
  16. Mine is embarrassingly short compared to you GAS - infected monkeys sadly gone 90s musima white white maple P. Lovely bass that I stupidly made fret less and changed stuff. aria magna pro 2 5 string - too big for my hands but a lovely bass Jap j 62 reissue (3tsb and tort naturally) - lovely in OE condition still have ... vintage EST96A in trans yellow. Stingray 3eq clone - Punches above its weight. A nice bass bassdoc built P 70s style. (3tsb and tort naturally) Still have it, haven’t changed a thing as it was perfect from day 1. Except i reliced it using Adam Clayton’s sunburst P as a model and I now love it more home made J stack knob in Olympic white, rosewood TORT and fake blocks - see my build thread - self relicing as the super thin nitro is crazing nicely
  17. Hmm - needed tortoiseshell ... oh hang on, no, you’ve got that one covered As you were. Good work mister
  18. Yep - totally screwed the future
  19. Aren’t the Wilson sisters something of a constant presence ?
  20. And parlour guitar and my anatomy ... hang on, no, that’s not actually true .. sadly 😞
  21. That’s very pretty - not my usual thing .. but nice
  22. Yes @Andyjr1515 what colour is it eh? good work mister
  23. No, because then you get into a world of pain with grain filling, sanding sealer...I’ve been there in my build thread and it felt like it would never end solid colours over failed sunbursts was good enough for Leo fender ...
  24. No, I’d just fine-sand the shine off to give the paint a key. Assuming the paint types are similar ... I put white nitro straight over a failed transparent blonde (the paint coat was lovely but the can ran out before I could finish) with just a minimal sanding
  25. Thank you, however I would prefer not see my name used, Tarquin
