  1. I’ve played yours and liked it a lot
  2. I actually had a blinding one. I’ve got a job interview tomorrow and the stress is getting to me. Partner and I decided that I needed to get out tonight so I went to the engineers arm in coalvile for OM night. @Nail Soup has visited. When I got there I explained to the hostess that I wasn’t sure if I was getting up but she gently pushed me into sweet home Alabama with her and another guitarist which went quite well, she then decided to do Dreams which went better than I thought it would as I’ve only ever played along to YouTube on both tunes I was just taking bass off when the next performer came up and asked the guitarist to stay instead of using a backing track. She then asked me to Stay on as well and do a song I don’t even know. When id stopped hyper-ventilating the guitarist gave me the chords and said “just wing it,they are all so pissed they won’t know”. So I did … Teenage dirt bag (another first: I used my five string properly and started on fret 5 to get the E, I’m starting to avoid open strings) sire v7 5 string sold to me by some serial rogue called @lee650 And a zoom b2 on ampeg patch shoes ? Brown. Next. That is all I know
  3. Things from a bygone era Jack Hargreaves probably mentions them in “out of town” at some point
  4. The former only crazy people would do otherwise
  5. Good for metal ?
  6. The moobie brothers - middle aged spread at its worst
  7. Unless it says Rickenbacker. In this eventuality I suggest you move on and look at something else
  8. No such reason makes it worth learning slap
  9. Muse-> musk ruined them, just like Elon would
  10. I’m going to buy my dog a new precision. She showed some interest in a photo, maybe she’ll manage to get a sound out of it if I wedge a dog chew between the strings and then I’ll have a free pass on that purchase
  11. You only need half of those If you got rid of everything fret wise above the octave and every part of a fret on the two treble strings, you could make it a hybrid fretted/fretless and do all the pointless noodling on the bits real bass players don’t use 👍 #joking
  12. Pictures please (when you can)
  13. I’ve got a v7 5 it’s perfect to play
  14. I’ll have to withdraw on medical grounds unless my neurologist pulls his finger out and gives me an appointment unmedicated I am not allowed to drive too far. He’s isn’t quite sure but suspects a form of narcolepsy and has put it all off “until the next appointment” which is yet to be booked
  15. I’ve played one, it was far better at being a bass than I was at playing it
  16. I’m a law graduate. Reading stuff is a major skill
  17. It’s actually the guitarists wife, if you read back. However I think I may have found the solution to the @Bluewine dilemma regarding videography… alternatively she might fancy a trip to Scotland?
  18. She’s a very smooth walker to judge by that first minute or so. fine choice of tune, sir
  19. I’m finding this a bit rude you’re trying to sell a very expensive item. You need to prove it is worth the price that you ask. I have a bridge to sell you, I ask only 3000€ It’s in London, but don’t ask me to prove that I own it. Would you buy from me?
  20. @Quasar79 wants the moon on a stick 😊 @gregorbass please can you show pictures of the neck heel and neck pocket, plus the rear side of the volume and time controls ? it is normal to do this when you say that this is a vintage instrument. It costs a lot of money and potential buyers want to be sure that it is really vintage **. That is why they ask so many questions, and to achieve a distance sale of a very expensive item you do need to be patient and understanding. UK sellers of vintage instruments do this same thing. asking myself why I’ve become his agent…
  21. Yes, this is normal behaviour it shows that the bass is probably in your possession. If you were a uk seller, a buyer could visit and see the item. Since you are nowhere local, a buyer will be more careful. good luck with your sale 🤞
  22. Ok folks - it seems that we can reach him well done @gregorbass
