@DiMarco thinking that if people will pay good money for coffee beans gobbled up by a smelly cat and then pooped out in a jungle and left for a while to soak up the ..um ...ambience just maybe there’s a market for beans that merely smell of “musty bass case”....or is that flavour just too mild ...

I have a jazz bass that I finished in nitro car paint. I left it in my car for a year. It’s crazed up nicely with winter and summer. It’s in its virgin form in my build thread . Apparently you can rub shoe polish into the cracks - think that tip came from @ricksfine52
