  1. You gave it to yourself mister, don’t paint me with your guilty pleasures.
  2. I've spent a lot of time in Florida, I even posted pictures from Discovery Cove here whilst lying on a sun lounger. My youngest was born in Florida, waters broke very early when Minnie Mouse came to our table. (true story) - I've even been to Bass Central.

  14. I got a nice RW mighty mite neck from Groover Harder (pics to follow) - nitro lacquer I'm doing this on a money and time budget so there will be no nordstrand content, sadly Plans are : paulownia body from ebay (cheap) deluxe neckplate with rounded-off edge, heel sanded down to suit. , White-mist stain with thin nitro laquer ( so OW but translucent) celluloid tort plate with lower tug-bar 60s style stack knob from Kiogon BBOT bridge with threaded saddles. cheapie pickups from somewhere but maybe BluesTributes from Ebay US as their P version gets mucho compliments
  15. I got a nice RW mighty mite neck from GrooveHarder and you can get nice Paulownia bodies on ebay for not much. I'm a bit bored of sunburst so see-though Olympic white seemed a nice idea.
  16. I'm thinking about a paulownia body for my build and I'm quite inspired by Whitemist above. Thinking about a left-field take on the Olympic white and tort with rosewood look - thin nitro lacquer on top. Deluxe neckplate and rounded heel instead of the usual square off Anyone got any wisdom to offer on this stain and lacquer approach ? Apologies for the thread hijack by the way
  17. Has anyone tried one of these ? Ebay item 372177579911 i know it’s only paulownia and not hallowed magic wood of the type breathed on by fairies and anointed with pixie dust as elves dance around it but are they any good for fit and taking paint ? Thin Olympic white nitro probably he gives neck pocket measurements - I have a standard mighty mite neck courtesy of mr “groove harder”
  18. I'm not elderly though I probably should know better
