1.
And have a wee before you start - it'll distract you for the entire first half otherwise.... Enjoy the gig tho - playing live is great.
True - Dutch courage also a bad idea My partner asked if I'd do it again, after the first time (when I totally died) and I said "in a heartbeat" - it was awesome second time - cutest girl in the room came up and told me "how awesome the (my) bass sounded" (didn't tell partner that Part (in great detail)
 2.
Well, I'd say yes, accept that you might make a mistake or two, but almost no one will notice unless you stop. Most of all, enjoy it.
True but if you're half a bar out and you try and guess it'll sound worse than silence or a random slide I'm the kind of person who thinks "doh!" But knows what to play in a bar or twos time and is right there when it comes by, so not playing for a moment works better than trying to cover it up in my experience so far @clunkie you'd be amazed at what people /don't/ notice
 3. Firstly accept that will make mistakes If you make one just stop playing you until you get an idea where to come back in Second just concentrate on having fun Also aware that other people will make mistakes as well

 7.
I think an ebay seller can withdraw an item at any time.... before it sells on ebay But withdrawing after someone has won it is not fair to the buyer. Quite what ebay's rules are, I'm not sure Perhaps the penalty the seller pays, is that he / she gets charged for the ad, as if it has sold? I'd definitely look in to opening a case.......
Happened to me twice - they can give him a strike as a non performing seller plus you can neg them Three strikes and they ban you. It's not like they can just create another account though ....
 8. I had exactly this guitar (back when I lived in the dark side) and these are nice pickups
 9. A beer I once bought was called "bass" - said so on the glass

 11.
I guess that's why they call it the blues?
What, "time after time"?
 12. I got £35 for a scrappy one from a guy who supplies props. Put it on gumtree
 13.
I live 20 minutes away from a lady bass player who played bass for Jet Harris whilst he played guitar. Even more obscure is that Phil Collins once bought me a lager and lime and he wasn't a bass player.
He played it in the video for "you can't hurry love"
 14.
Are you thinking of Stinky Pete from Toy Story?
No Mickey Mouse clubhouse - don't you know ANYTHING ?

 16.
I was at school with Les Hurdle (early Donna Summer, Brighteyes and much more) and I shared a flat with Dave Wintour (Wurzles, Wakeman and more) Oh, and I can confidently claim to be first in UK to have played fretless BG.
Didn't bill wyman make one in the 60s?
