Me too until recently I sent one package to Manchester with ups and the guy forged the proof of delivery. Buyer claimed adamantly it was not her signature. When I brought this to their attention the parcel magically turned up one day later despite earlier “proof of delivery”

Ups seem to be using non-ups staff (unmarked folk, unmarked vehicles) now.

My ampeg ba108 sound awesome even through headphones so I’m not sure that’s always true

don't have to be in a band, just playing with one other like minded person will do. As a bass player you have a head start in that you're not a common as muck guitar player

I've been looking for these for a while and baulking at Fender and Allparts prices £15 each. I even looked at US import. I found this item on ebay at a lot less 112611206277 and it fits narrow CTS stack pots. (6mm and 4mm respectively, low to high) only available in black at the moment but I just sprayed the upper part in silver radiator paint and I was good to go. NB : I have no connection with them other than as a one off purchaser, I'm just sharing.
