1.
There is something special about her at the beginning of the Tom Tom Club https://youtu.be/XIW4skg3Ceo
The special thing is that she is hot? And can play too
2. coming back this weekend. A fresh start to the relicing debate - woohoo! ** ** heavy irony here, if you're thinking of being negative, please just dont bother.
3. Why on earth is this still unsold? I would snap your hand off Have a free bump
4. I had one in trans grey - totally awesome
5.
Likewise. Way to come in being super rude.
Me also, rude, stroppy, and impatient were words that crossed my mind reading this thread
6. Why not run some string thru a piece of sponge and stuff it under your bridge cover ?
7. Bet they could - my prosebass looked like it had been machine gunned by the time it left their tender care
8.
Got a pic?
Only once I have patented it
9. I designed one that fits a bridge cover
10.
What does Gas mean?
Gear acquisition syndrome The idea that your playing will improve beyond all recognition if you dispose of a perfectly acceptable bass and buy a different one
11. There are several threads answering exactly this question - you should be able to find them using the search function
12. I had one - US feel for less money, I didn't care about the case and the graphite rods
13. I think both 51-57 and actual telecaster bass look cool beyond words so I'd love to try either
14. Maybe I'm missing something here but it seems a storm in a teacup ? Driven perhaps by an unintentional pun on "come"...
15.
I am on the train home and just thinking how much I enjoy playing bass. I do not have quick fingers, my tone and volume are questionable but I just love picking up a bass and noodling. I have yet to gig and will not be the next Trujillo, Sting or Pastorious but, I do not care. So for those of you who think that only gigging players are real or that you have to be able to slap or play a certain number of strings, go boil your heads. I am happy playing bass and making music. That is all.
Yes, with you, the odd OM night is nice but even looking at my basses makes me happy
16. I'm not sure I'd pay all that, I go with an earlier poster who suggests you could get a luthier to do an amazing job with fender or mighty mite parts for a lot less
17. Sounds like long term trouble whatever happens, I'd walk
18.
WOW!! Cool! Where did you get it done? I must get mine done. I'm sure my MD will be SOOOOOOOoooooo impressed when she see's this done to my company car.
Won't be valid, you didn't drive it for 39 years and leave it outside in all weathers

20.
Ooops.Wasn't trying to be rude or disrespectful, just expressing an opinion and not trying to stir the pot like some people do.The last three words of my earlier post say it all-"different strokes.....whatever....",you do your thing,I do mine and we might not understand each other and that's OK.I'm a bit weird by some standards since I own and gig with a Yamaha RBX750A(anybody out there have one?) and a Yamaha SLB200 EUB and play through a Laney amp which is a rare thing here in Canada.Probably lots of people wouldn't get that either...and that's OK.Apologies to any one I have offended,I'll be more careful in the future.
You didn't offend me, it wasn't what I wanted to see in the thread I started, but you're entitled to an opinion
21.
I have both, and often do the darth Vader thing, looking at one then the other , back and forth trying to decide which side to take.
You should say to them that you find their lack of faith in your ability disturbing before picking one up by its neck
