  1. Easily fixed with a shower, leaving just the memories

    Hi there!

If you add your location you’ll probably find some of us are local
  3. Agree but totally cannot fault my v7-5 sire. Just don’t need anything else even a keyboard player said “that looks awesome” upon first sight. The guitarists didn’t say anything as it was snack time and someone had hidden their duplo

    Hi there!

You’ll fit right in, mister. keep it simple … check p bass … check willing to learn … check
  5. Rush got it wrong - it’s not The Spirit Of Radio, it’s “the spirit of basschat”. Losers, Rush will never do anything successful, five minute wonder you need something called X, I have three and I’ll send you the best one by express 24. Don’t send money. Right there, right there in the Walmart 👍
  6. …The Ibanez GSR 180 is a great and lightweight guitar, I just had a little noodle on it and its lovely to play…. no, may still need the tar and feathers, plus a stout tree GLWTS 👍
  7. You called the Ibanez a guitar above … Ibanez are perfectly respectable! Why are you insulting them in this way ? 😳
  8. Agree, but the continuing argument is whether you can also get a better-made, better QC fender-a-like for less. Eg Sire
  9. Possibly but the consensus so far is to swerve around
  10. Good decision but I’m sad for whoever buys it at an inflated price
  11. Sounds like a fake then
  12. Is there a difference?
  13. Lighter punch = less chrome depth required
  14. No. So real that it’s actual brer bear says so
  15. The font on OPs photos looks heavier and deeper
  16. Also the pots look quite new…
  17. Can you show your neck plate please for comparison- maybe block out some digits
  18. I’ve read what people here have written who know far more than me and I agree. Only if it’s cheap … would be my view, and the neck and frets look like trouble brewing
  19. It’s okay for the serial to be stamped on the neck plate for some early years. IIRC it was them moved to a decal on the headstock. There are experts on here who could tell you when approximately, like@Hellzero amongst others equally this may be a bitsa where someone didn’t do their homework my guess is that it’s a good fake with a few original parts - probably white originally also. Doesn’t mean it’s a bad instrument though
  20. Maybe the previous owner was a guitarist? You’d need to have it hosed down if so as they can carry mites and ticks, especially if they haven’t been kept in captivity and given vetenary care
  21. There was a time when they didn’t know the neck varnish attacked decals, and there was a time when the decal sat on top of varnish with no coating, conceivably the damage could be attributable to those causes, however there should also be a fair bit more decal there
  22. That neck stamp is very black and clear I may be wrong but the plate bevel looks like a later one
  23. Nice one Centurion!
  24. Waiting on those pics …
